My house/Zoflora

Posting here for traffic.
My house is a bit horrid. I have pets and a messy DH (who does get on board when I have a proper 'spruce' but doesn't notice the daily grime). I can keep on top of genuine rubbish but clutter builds easily. I know nobody can sort this out for me and I am working on it.
What bothers me most is smell. Although it's clean ish, it doesn't smell fresh. I do open windows for a bit every day.
I bought some miracle potion Zoflora yesterday and already mop the floors with it. I want to know what I can do with it as almost like a reed diffuser/air freshener?
I don't put the heating on much (have a log burner) so don't think putting it on radiators would work. I do hoover relatively regularly so can try the cotton wool trick. Anything else I could try? Is it really safe to spray on curtains? Any other tips for a pet household for smell? Thanks in advance!

wizzy it will be clean yes because it's a disinfectant. As long as you used the correct dilution

wizzywig · 10/11/2016 14:01

i hit wilko's hard and stocked up. big time. im actually very excited about all the possibilities that a life with zoflora holds.

Mozfan1 · 10/11/2016 14:10

Pic wizzy or it hasn't happened

wizzywig · 10/11/2016 14:48

Sorry, not RTFT, so apologies if this has been asked/answered already.

I have a cordless dyson, and put a zoflora soaked cotton wool ball in the bit where all the dust and shit goes, but the zoflora smell didn't dissipate when I was hoovering! Does it not work in bagless vacuums, or do I need to put it somewhere else in the dyson for it to work?

TIA.

Mozfan1 · 10/11/2016 15:31

wizzy.... That is beautiful. And yes, the mug just adds to the already amazing haul. Well done wizzy, well done. Hero.

captain did you soak a cotton ball in near zoflora? Best thing is to soak it neat and just vacuum it up

CaptainBumpALot · 10/11/2016 15:40

Yes Moz, that's how I did it. Will try your way, thank you!

Hoovering has never been so exciting Grin

Poppypoochischristmascrackered · 10/11/2016 15:48

I didn't put the lid back on my Zaflora bottle properly, as I was still using it, lifted bottle by lid, why?? and it fell to the floor lost half the contents, I stood there looking at it going oh no oh no, then thought what's my life coming to when I am stressing out over spilling Zaflora Sad just needed to tell someone, who would understand my fretting can't tell dp he would look like Hmm Confused then laugh at me

Mozfan1 · 10/11/2016 15:52

Flowers for you poppy, that must have been heartbreaking

My spray bottle that contains my diluted zoflora has decided to break so I need to get another one. Annoying.

Poppypoochischristmascrackered · 10/11/2016 15:54

Thank you Mozfan

Eevee2016 · 10/11/2016 23:32

Had my first Zo-porn dream last night, in it they had brought out NEW flavours, really crazy ones like chocolate orange and salted caramel. Never thought a household cleaner would take over me like this, it's bizarre!

Tried the vacuum trick and it worked really well and is still going strong 5 days later.

Can anyone tell me if Stardrops is good/worth buying and what can be done with it? Does it smell of anything?

babynugget · 11/11/2016 07:08

Hi Zoflo fans

PrancerForHoney · 11/11/2016 07:10

I use Stardrops. It's very versatile. It can even be used in the washer on the dog beds. I use a small squirt with zoflora. My OH uses it to wash his decorating equipment. I used it to was our filthy UPV front door and it's gleaming. I may have bunged some zoflora in with it to to make the hall smell nice . 😉
It can double up as emergency washing up liquid too.

PrancerForHoney · 11/11/2016 07:24

Oh the shame. I've just been caught taking this photo. My addiction is no longer secret.
I have told OH it will be our family Christmas Card. I am half joking. Blush
He has sloped off shaking his head and muttering " WTF" under his breath.

Prancer that pic gave me the feels

Mcchickenbb41 · 11/11/2016 08:56

Just brought summer breeze in asda on offer if anyone interested. And omg finally found one I DONT like. Smells like alcohol or is it just me. It's vile. Sad glad a stocked up on some other flavours

PrancerForHoney · 11/11/2016 10:21

Dreams of winning euro millions so I can have a walk in pantry dedicated to Zoflora

Smartleatherbag · 11/11/2016 10:26

That photo, prancer. Beautiful.
I bought Rose yesterday, 59p in Savers. Oh. My. God. Love it. I think it's my favourite so far, but I've still to find some of the festive ones.

TheLionQueen · 11/11/2016 14:45

There's some impressive zoflo action on here- I am envious of your varied collections Envy
I'll give the table drier sheets a go- still need to actually sort the bloody cupboard out yet.
Just done the drains with it- surprised at how long the fragrance lasts!

Lion you could always try soaking a bit of sponge with zoflo? Might hold the zoflo and the fragrance better than cotton wool

TheLionQueen · 11/11/2016 17:52

You might be on to something there Moz- I'm away for the weekend now but will give that a go. The cotton wool on the radiator just never quite worked for me.
Also might try wiping with neat solution instead of the wool...

I'm off on a Zoflo shopping spree. Poundland, Home Bargains and Asda. I can hit them all in 15 mins and be out of there with at least 5 flavours. Oh it's a good day! Going to a neighbours for drinks tonight so may bring a bottle of Zoflo as a 'thanks for having us' gift.

PrancerForHoney · 12/11/2016 12:29

babynugget
I think the Christmas Tree is great idea. I'm so nicking that idea.
I'm still on the hunt for Winter Morning and Twilight Garden.

wineusuallyhelps · 12/11/2016 14:21

Sorry if this has already been suggested, but imagine if Yankee Candle and Zoflora teamed up and had Yankee-fragranced varieties [ponders] Grin.

BretonStripe · 12/11/2016 17:39

Prancer have you tried Sainsbo's? My local one, not big, had loads of those recently (and you've just reminded me I should have got some earlier!).
