My house/Zoflora

Posting here for traffic.
My house is a bit horrid. I have pets and a messy DH (who does get on board when I have a proper 'spruce' but doesn't notice the daily grime). I can keep on top of genuine rubbish but clutter builds easily. I know nobody can sort this out for me and I am working on it.
What bothers me most is smell. Although it's clean ish, it doesn't smell fresh. I do open windows for a bit every day.
I bought some miracle potion Zoflora yesterday and already mop the floors with it. I want to know what I can do with it as almost like a reed diffuser/air freshener?
I don't put the heating on much (have a log burner) so don't think putting it on radiators would work. I do hoover relatively regularly so can try the cotton wool trick. Anything else I could try? Is it really safe to spray on curtains? Any other tips for a pet household for smell? Thanks in advance!

Are they from Savers Prancer?

They had an absolutely epic selection when I was there the other day including those quaint little glass bottles of the Rose fragrance.

PrancerForHoney · 08/11/2016 16:02

Yes. Savers. You weren't the lady behind me grinning to herself at 12.30 today were you? Wink

LaundryQueenHatesIroning · 08/11/2016 16:05

Sadly not, I went last week. Although my dream is to meet a fellow Zoflorista in real life Grin

PrancerForHoney · 08/11/2016 16:10

I have brainwashed my friend into becoming a Zoflora and Stardrops addict. I have suggested the village shop stocks them. My move to take over the world is progressing slowly. 😂

bigredboat · 08/11/2016 17:54

Having never used zoflora before I bought a big bottle of linen off the back of this thread! I like it but it is a bit like a 90s aftershave. They had quite few small bottles of winter morning in Tesco today so I bought one based on the rumours of scarcity, can't wait to try it!

Mozfan1 · 08/11/2016 18:01

Well done bigred

Haha prancer my mum texted me today 'where can I get a big bottle of zoflora?'

I bought her some the other week and she's hooked.... Yes!!!!

wizzywig · 08/11/2016 18:05

i found out that if you put zoflo and water into a You (crappy household cleanser) bottle, and spray, it comes out foamy. niiice

Poppypoochischristmascrackered · 08/11/2016 18:06

Those big bottles are like gold, my poor dp just shakes his head and walks of when I am ooooing and aaahhhing over the shelves of Zaflora bless he just doesn't get it

Mozfan1 · 08/11/2016 18:43

Wizzy!!!!

PrancerForHoney · 08/11/2016 18:54

Wilkos had big bottles half price today of Bluebell Woods. I want Twilight Garden and Winter Morning. I wonder if I should ring round all the supermarkets tomorrow before venturing out. It's just started to Snow here.

LaundryQueenHatesIroning · 08/11/2016 21:17

If it's starting to snow that means it's time to crack open the Winter Morning Wink

Katietwinmum · 08/11/2016 21:30

I am 100% a convert got the linen one today - gawd it smells CLEAN! LOVE IT!

Winter morning and the cinnamon one are beautiful too been skooshing home made mix of the cinnamon all over the house Wink

Katietwinmum · 08/11/2016 21:31

Great selection in semi chem, savers and pound world. Morrisons had some a bit more expensive but hidden away on a low shelf. House smells devine and is shining for 70p. Can't whack it

LaundryQueenHatesIroning · 09/11/2016 07:38

Sorry, because I know this has been mentioned before but i don't know where to find it and it seems silly to start a new thread when all you lovely lot are hereSmile

I have an empty reed diffuser just BEGGING to be filled with Warm Cinnamon Zoflo. Do I use it neat or dilute 50/50 with water?

Mozfan1 · 09/11/2016 08:40

laundry I do mine with 50/50 water

LaundryQueenHatesIroning · 09/11/2016 08:51

Thanks Moz! I'm going to do it now

wineusuallyhelps · 09/11/2016 18:18

Ladies...and possibly gents....

I have found The One.

Twilight Garden Wink!

SuePerkins · 09/11/2016 19:18

I've been found out Blush we had a plumbing emergency which meant DH had to empty the under sink cupboard to access the stopcock. Even DS said "wow thats a lot of Zoflora, Mummy!"

Kidnapped · 09/11/2016 20:15

I have shoved my stash behind the big bag of dishwasher salt, where few people dare to venture.

I dread a plumbing emergency.

TheLionQueen · 09/11/2016 21:14

Ran out of fabric softener so used my springtime today- I fear it's a bit 'bathroom cleaner' for clothes but never mind.
I really need to find winter morning or twilight, I can't get on with the cinnamon or cranberry
I've got a cupboard in the bedroom where we used to have damp so it's a little bit foisty, though now dry. I'm going to pull all the clothes out of it, sort and wash but has anyone tried any sort of zoflo drawer fresheners? If so how? I don't think cotton wool balls will cut it, esp as it doesn't get warm in there.

Ive cleaned the bathroom with diluted zoflo. Does zoflo actually clean things or just disinfect? Im used to seeing bubbles from my usual bathroom cleaner.

Mozfan1 · 10/11/2016 07:45

lion try spraying dryer sheets with zoflo and putting them in the cupboard
