My house/Zoflora

Posting here for traffic.
My house is a bit horrid. I have pets and a messy DH (who does get on board when I have a proper 'spruce' but doesn't notice the daily grime). I can keep on top of genuine rubbish but clutter builds easily. I know nobody can sort this out for me and I am working on it.
What bothers me most is smell. Although it's clean ish, it doesn't smell fresh. I do open windows for a bit every day.
I bought some miracle potion Zoflora yesterday and already mop the floors with it. I want to know what I can do with it as almost like a reed diffuser/air freshener?
I don't put the heating on much (have a log burner) so don't think putting it on radiators would work. I do hoover relatively regularly so can try the cotton wool trick. Anything else I could try? Is it really safe to spray on curtains? Any other tips for a pet household for smell? Thanks in advance!

MrT do you use eBay or Amazon?

Mozfan1 · 28/10/2016 16:37

I bet there's all manner of sexy flavours on there

Mozfan1 · 28/10/2016 16:38

smart well done, try bouquet

Slightly biased, I just cleaned our sofa bed with it and sprayed my living room curtains with it... And cleaned the high hair with it. House smells beaut

Mozfan1 · 28/10/2016 16:42

I've found a seller on eBay who does a mix of 12 packs for 12.50, that includes delivery. Could I..?

Smartleatherbag · 28/10/2016 17:13

I shall add bouquet to my repertoire then.

Soubriquet · 28/10/2016 17:16

Step away from eBay moz!!!

Mozfan1 · 28/10/2016 17:19

soub I don't think I can. A crate of zoflo delivered to my door? What could be better

Soubriquet · 28/10/2016 17:26

Everything else?! Grin

AliceThrewTheFookingGlass · 28/10/2016 17:30

I'm pretty sure I saw some winter morning in a discount store near me the other day. I had already bought 5 various bottles in a different shop so didn't think to buy anymore.. I will have to go back in tomorrow to see if they are still there and stock up!

GaryGilmoresEyes · 28/10/2016 19:08

Zoflo disinfects? I just thought it was a really awesome house and air freshener.

I had to go to Tesco today (hate the shop) to get my daughter some bits and bobs for a halloween party tomorrow, but was secretly pleased we were going as it meant I could see what Zoflo they had in. Loads is what! I bought a giant bottle of clean linen and two small bottles of Twilight and Moonlight. They also had the green apple one (it does smell of EA Sunflowers), cinnamon, and a few others.
I have cleaned the kitchen surfaces with the linen one, and used the twilight one in the bathroom, neat on a heater and wiped over our metals framed bed and back of the door. Im going to have a big clean this weekend so I hope the house smells AmAzInG afterwards Grin

SeussicaltheMusical · 28/10/2016 20:27

I've run linen through the washing machine and have a sink full in the kitchen - smells amazing and has got rid of the cooking smells from dinner!

MrTCakes · 28/10/2016 20:40

Moz yes but it is quite pricey online with delivery! Worth it though, obvs.
I have tesco and the 99p shop to try tomorrow. Excited.

plimsolls · 28/10/2016 20:56

I wish they had scratch and sniff packaging. Or those little foil inserts like perfume adverts in magazines.

SamhainSoubriquet · 28/10/2016 21:00

I just open the box and sniff the bottle

Mozfan1 · 28/10/2016 21:05

MrT I found a pack of 12 for £12.50, I'm seriously considering it

CurtainsforRonnie · 28/10/2016 21:06

I open them all as well instore.

MrTCakes · 28/10/2016 21:23

Moz link needed!!

CurbsideProphet · 28/10/2016 22:16

I'm just catching up with the past day or so and things took a strange turn didn't they Grin

I would like to thank whoever told me to leave Zoflo in the washing up bowl to get rid of food smells. Amazing! Open plan living might be all the rage, but in a flat it just means that everywhere smells of stale food Envy >> boak

I'm currently all about the Linen. I've nearly finished my small Linen, so might finish it in the washing machine and then break out the Winter Spice this weekend Smile I'm also toying with checking out the selection in Asda and Wilkos. Any suggestions?

Mozfan1 · 28/10/2016 22:30

I'm loving bouquet at the moment curb, i found it complemented in my washing with the powder I use

And it is nice for upholstery

fishandlilacs · 28/10/2016 22:36

I have been using zoflora for years and years. No idea it was a thing...I feel like I'm in some sort of club now!

Just make sure it's totally dry before putting anything you have cleaned with it near pets.

CurbsideProphet · 28/10/2016 22:42

Mozfan I will look out for bouquet tomorrow Flowers Smile

SlinkyB · 28/10/2016 22:53

I got some Winter Garden in Asda today, even paid £1.45 for a little bottle because it smells so gorgeous! Have shoved it down my sinks and toilets tonight, but will use it properly tomorrow morning. Or should I use Winter Spice as we're hosting a Halloween party at lunchtime, and it's a bit more autumnal...decisions decisions.

SlinkyB · 28/10/2016 23:05

*winter morning
