Morning EHM, asleep and Quootie - quite an easy mission for me cos I did a big clearout of our wardrobe a week or so ago. Think I'll do the kids pants and socks instead, I need to get on in their rooms today.

Also to do -

empty/reload dw
empty td
load wm x2
ironing and put away clothes
quick tidy round downstairs, esp kids rooms
big tidy upstairs
deliever local cards
tidy the wretched utility room (I'll keep putting it on my list in the hope I'll do it eventually!)
take dd to party/collect dd from party
plan tomorrows lunch (2 sets of friends for lunch)

Think that's it...

better try to get in the shower while dh is still here to prevent the kids from killing each other while I'm in there! Back later x

Ellie has been fed, washed & dressed.
DW on & finished. need to emptied
WM on, another load to do.
Make bedDone
Get showered & dressed.
Wipe kitchen, bathroom, downstairs toilet.
hoover upstairs & stairs.
iron clothes washed yesterday.
buy dishwasher tabs & salt, washing tabs & fabric conditioner + milk.
Supposed to be popping into work at 1230 to meet friend & then go for lunch with her and her dd.
If I do the mission I'll end up with no knickers or soxs.
TaTa for now.

I do find this list making v useful
It's lovely to be able to tick jobs off as you go along, but sometimes a bit disheartening if you don't achieve so much...hope to do well today though as it's my last real chance before Christmas. Send me motivating vibes please , I'm pretty tired and would rather just sit cuddled up with kids on the sofa in front of telly all day......

Thanks EllieH'sMum I did sleep reasonably well but it would be better if my dh slept with the bedclothes all the way up to his nose like I like to, not with his arms out and pushing them down the bed. Grrrr.

Today I need to:-
spend at least 4 hours ironing to try to get the pile down from hip height
write a couple of e-mails
walk the dog once the delivery person has been
ring a friend (not luda, another one, who has been without a car for a week or so) to see if she needs a lift somewhere
do a load of washing and finish tumble drying

P.S. The PC seems to be slow and not 100% normal so if it goes all quiet from me for a week or two, it'll be that. I'm not allowed to use the one in work at lunchtime as the site is a type that's disallowed. Saying that, I've got 2 weeks off now, yippee!

Sorry I missed that CranberryJelley. I hope you and the baby don't get it. It often happens in our family that one gets it good and proper, another one gets less badly and the remaining two just feel a bit off. I'll cross my fingers for you. Try to rest as much as you can so that you don't become over-tired. It's hard to look after people who are ill and keep the house going.

shouldbe I don't feel like doing much either. I'll set the ironing board up now and put the tv on and I'll be okay once I start.

Not a bad night for me. A killer between 9pm and 12.30 but then DD slept from 12.30 am until now with only 2 wakes for 30 min feeds

Visitors coming in a bit so everything picked off floor and hidden and kitchen cleaned (we always congregate there when tea-making).

Ive got another cold! I'm fed up with getting colds.
Jelley hope all are well soon and you don't get it. DD2 didn't get it when we all had it! Hopefully she won't now.(tortoise touches the biggest piece of wood while hugging a tree!!)

Got to go to town soon and get some money out the bank to go to bigger town on the train. Will get the 1pm one in i think! Its too cold to go out though!! I have money i can put on gas now but it will need to last until next tuesday or thursday.Don't really want to go out on boxing day!

But had DD2 in with me last night and she wet the bed!

I just shoved a towel under and on top of the wet patch at stripped her! Put clean pjs on her and then led her on the towel!!!
I better strip the bed now.
