Kim82 · 14/04/2016 20:34

Evening everyone. Jobs I have done today are:

  • tidy beds
  • bathe toddler
  • scrubbed and bleached the mound/mildew off the bathroom ceiling (there's no window in there so it's hard to keep ventilated)
  • washed dishes
  • cleaned every inch of the kitchen; including patio doors inside and out, cleaned out microwave, wiped down all walls, skirting boards, cupboards and I was on my hands and knees with a scrubbing brush doing the floor - it took me 4.5 bloody hours!

I'm also now starving but don't want to mess up the kitchen by making something to eat haha.

My list for tomorrow is:

  • strip and remake our bed and ds's bed
  • finish scrubbing bathroom mould
  • clean and mop upstairs bathroom
  • dust and Hoover all bedrooms
  • Hoover landing and stairs
  • dust and polish living room
  • clean all internal windows
  • clean and mop downstairs bathroom
  • washing
  • fold and put away clean washing
RedMapleLeaf · 14/04/2016 23:01
  • straightened bedroom.
  • cleaned bathroom after shower.
  • cleaned kitchen tonight.
  • disinfected plug holes.
  • 1 load of laundry dried.

Tomorrow I want to clean and Kondo a kitchen cupboard and get everywhere hoovered and mopped ready for boyfriend/weekend etc.

willhazboz · 14/04/2016 23:17

Kim seriously what do you do with your toddler?? While you clean I mean obviously. I have to make do with 10-15 minute bursts but would love a trick to get the bigger jobs done. She is 2 in August and just so darn demanding! And hates the vacuum cleaner!

Kim82 · 15/04/2016 07:37

Dh was off work yesterday will so he kept her entertained. He's also usually home by 1.30pm most days (he's a postman) so I can get stuff done once he's home. She sleeps for 2 hours from 12-2pm every day too so that helps. Our dds are similar ages, mine will be 2 towards the end of July - hard bloody work aren't they?!

Afreshstartplease · 15/04/2016 07:42

Checking in for the weekend

House is a bin (as usual)

Got to do school run and couple of errands then I'll be back home with dd (3) to crack on

OP posts:
Skivvywoman · 15/04/2016 07:42

Today I've only really got this morning to get things done as dd is a half day from school and then she has dance class

Make beds open curtains and Windows tidy rooms
Put dishes away do dishes wipe kitchen down
Wipe bathroom down
Put dry washing away
Put washing on and hang up
Damp dust living room
Hoover
And if I have time tidy garden

Have a nice day everyone Smile

willhazboz · 15/04/2016 07:44

They are! Ah my own fault with the naps. Dd will only sleep when I am out walking with her or in the car. Even then it's 35-40 mins once a day. I so wish I had a nap time. (Though I'd never be as disciplined as you and would probably watch tv and eat cake.)

Kim82 · 15/04/2016 09:26

Right, one load of washing in the dryer, beds stripped and covers in the washer, breakfast dishes washed and kitchen wiped over. I'm now off to my sister's for a couple of hours and I'll carry on when I get back.

Afreshstartplease · 15/04/2016 09:34

School run and errands done

Making toast to keep the sickness at bay

Then gonna reload washer and dryer and finish the pots

willhazboz · 15/04/2016 17:44

Everything went a bit wrong today and I have done naff all. Was waiting for consultant for 3 hrs! And he is sending me for a scan as thinks the baby might be breach :( Had a banging head when I finally finished so this afternoon has just been survival till bedtime! We are getting a takeaway and watching a film. Cleaning shall resume tomorrow.

Skivvywoman · 15/04/2016 20:23

Aww willz hope your ok? (2 of my baby's were breach)

Today I have done not a thing in the house except making the beds!! But I did go food shopping took dd to dance class got my nails and eyebrows done and went to pay money to my holiday

Tomorrows a new day (and I get to find out what my first grandbaby is going to be)

Kim82 · 15/04/2016 21:05

Oh no will, I hope the baby turns but in the meantime put your feet up and enjoy your takeaway.

And how exciting skivvy, it must be so exciting with a new grandchild on the way!

I've not done too badly today, I stripped ours and ds' beds, washed the covers and remade them, did a couple of loads of washing, dried, folded and put them away, cleaned the kitchen, tidied the living room, went to buy a load of food for a BBQ were having tomorrow, helped Dh put up the massive gazebo for the BBQ, packed bags for the 11 and 8 year olds as they're staying with my parents for the weekend and I dropped them off round there after tea. We also had the 8 year old's friend round for the afternoon and I dropped her off on the way to my parents. Toddler is now in bed and I'm sitting with a well deserved cup of tea! Tomorrow's list is:

  • strip and remake girls' beds
  • washing
  • fold and put away clean washing
  • dust and Hoover all 3 bedrooms
  • Hoover landing and stairs
  • clean and mop both bathrooms
  • dust, sweep and mop living room
  • wash breakfast dishes and sweep and mop kitchen
  • bathe toddler
  • pack bag for toddler as she's staying at mil's tomorrow night - Dh will drop her off around 11am ish
  • sort out camp bed and covers for ds' friend who is staying overnight tomorrow
  • iron clothes for me to wear tomorrow night

I need to get all this done by around 1pm at the latest so it'll be a busy morning but after that I'm going out at 3pm, back home for BBQ for 18 friends at 6pm and then we'll leave Ds and his friend to play Xbox and watch Netflix and go out for cocktails and dancing. I can't wait!

Skivvywoman · 15/04/2016 21:23

Kim I'm so excited Smile

willhazboz · 15/04/2016 23:19

I'm hoping he's wrong! He said he couldn't work it out whether he was feeling bum or head. Obviously takes after me with a huge bum Grin
Your day tomorrow sounds great Kim! I hope you have a lovely time!
