So I sat until 1015, then I've done:

Cleaned bathroom omg it was filthy with lime scale build up so once I'd sprayed Cillit Bangand it exposed bright white patches I had to scrub, really scru the lot. But it's clean, clear and looking good.

Folded two airers worth of clothes into basket instead of shoved onto heal on table [proud]

Hung wash on airer
Stripped ds high sleeper
Put wash on

Having coffee now before I goto tip/charity and Asda.

RaspberryBlonde · 13/02/2015 12:00

Sounds like it's going well smile, it's always a mad panic here when we have guests, you're doing much better than me as usually I end up doing everything the morning of the day of the visit! Hope you are feeling ok today.

Everything ticked off my list apart from supermarket which we will do on the way home from DDs swimming class. Managed to sort through some old clothes which I put away when pregnant and haven't got out again yet, so most of those are going! Also attempted to file some bills etc but turns out most of it belongs to DH so he'll have to go through it.

cikecaka · 13/02/2015 12:23

I've done a general tidy of the sitting room,
Hoovered sitting room
Hung up wash
Put in a wash
Lunch on
Cleaned counters

Wobblebeans · 13/02/2015 12:40

Ugh, I've definitely fallen off the wagon!
I did hardly anything yesterday apart from the basic everyday housework and today dd1 is off school (inset day) and DP is at work so I have all 3 at home being little tornadoes so I'm not holding out for much other than keeping them entertained so they don't make too much mess.
I might ring my DM a bit later though to see if she'll have dd1 and dd2 on Sunday so we can completely finish sorting out their bedroom which means I'll be able to start tackling dd3's bedroom next week.
Might get DP to do a tip run tomorrow as well. We WILL do this!!

Wobblebeans · 13/02/2015 13:16

Oh and we're also on day 1 of potty training dd2, it's all happening this week Confused

cikecaka · 13/02/2015 14:34

Just cleaned my hob, tiles behind hob and cooker hood!

andsmile · 13/02/2015 14:58

Thanks Raspberry

Stuck in Asda eatingGrin

Have been to tip/charity/asda shopping.

Have got school run/nursery to do then an after school activity - looks like I'll be cleaning into the night!

andsmile · 14/02/2015 02:17

Just finished 30 mins ago - was wrapping gifts n putting up decs.

I've done whole of house - except bedroom. A lot of stuff has been shoved into carrier bags n dumped in our bedroom - might just straighten this up a bit in am.
Least it's all done n I can enjoy tomorrow.

comeagainforbigfudge · 14/02/2015 10:00

Kitchen done.
Morning sickness (still! At 23 weeks) cleaned up as a wee bit missed sink. Poor me
Fridge cleaned

To do:
Sort clean laundry.
Put on a wash
Contemplate whether should tidy garden. (Seems to collect rubbish) or sit still and feel sorry for myself that sickness back? Sad

OH is going to finish clearing small room Grin

I might just sit for a wee while and hope sicky feeling settles soon.

Happy Saturday peeps x

Snowflake15 · 14/02/2015 12:17

comeagain I'm 8 weeks and feeling it tooSad

Lying on sofa til the nausea passes then -

Cleaning dining table
Cleaning work tops
Washing up
Cleaning sink
Taking bins out
Need to hang out a wash and put another one on
Whole bathroom needs doing

When oh wakes he can Hoover and mop everywhere

Just want to get on with it but feeling too sicky!

RaspberryBlonde · 14/02/2015 13:42

Smile that is one marathon clean, hope you have a great day today as you deserve it after all that effort.

Done today so far:

  • washed and hung up laundry
  • put dishwasher on
  • tidied kitchen after breakfast.

Currently trying to settle DD for nap and then will unload dishwasher and do some other bits. Jealous of those of you hoping to get out in the garden...it's miserable and rainy here!

comeagainforbigfudge · 14/02/2015 13:59

Well a wash is just finishing.
I spent an hour n a half in garden. Cutting trees down a bit (probably totally wrong time of year but done now) looks so much better but that was just the back! Front will need to be done another day unless I get a sudden burst of energy this afternoon

Been to the dump with loads of crap from back room. It's almost empty now. Just furniture. Woohoo!! Next step get walls stripped and carpet up!

Got so much crap lying around living room that needs sorted/tidyed away so that's next task.

Getting there slowly Grin

Hope you all doing well with your ufyh

Snowflake15 miserable isn't it? I was doing so well. But baby had other plans Angry

afreshstartplease · 15/02/2015 14:04

About to do first 20/10 of the day!

Tackling dds room

cikecaka · 15/02/2015 22:23

I am going to clean the main bathroom in the morning! I am not allowed downstairs til it's done!

andsmile · 16/02/2015 08:26

Congratulations comeagain Thanks and snowflake Thanks - you just waiting until all that voodoo nesting energy vibe kicks in - you'll laugh in the face 20/10's Grin Hope you are feeling okish - lemon lollies? ginger biscuits? meh - everyones full of advice aren't they! Grin

raspberry yeah, I was aware I was kind of doing a marathon of 50/10's. I ended up with a room of doom - this was our bedroom where it all got dumped. Hmm But now Ive found this thread and the UFYH principle (which is easier to follow than FLY Lady) I shall endevour not to do it properly now. So I'm aiming for a general tidy round

20/10 downstairs (mainly kitchen)
20/10 upstairs

cikecaka · 16/02/2015 09:10

Bathroom clean
Shower
Bath
Sink

Leaving cleaning stuff upstairs so I can give it a going over most mornings this week!

comeagainforbigfudge · 16/02/2015 09:30

Thanks andsmile I'm still waiting on the glow so hoping I at least get some of this infamous voodoo nesting vibe Grin

Plan today:
General kitchen/living room tidy
20/10 my room
20/10 small room (hopefully just a quick check nothings been missed type tidy up)
A trip to shop's.

ZingTheGreat · 16/02/2015 13:37

weekend unfucking was extremely succesful.

I'm too tired to list it all but we put playpen in living room for BabyZing, which meant cleaning under & behind sofas, rearrange furniture, take all kids toys upstairs (only baby toys are allowed downstairs now) etc.
I sorted top half of little bookshelf so it's nice & tidy now with all my crochet books and current projects neatly arranged and DH put the lampshade in (through back panel) and fixed the panel (it was falling off).

we also sorted fireplace so it's safe for BabyZing, who now manoeuvres round on the floor and is on the verge of crawling.
I did a massive amount of sewing and finished 2 quilt tops (Billie Blankets, 1 big, 1 medium sized) and prepared a lot of fabric for another medium Billie Blanket and about 7 more Little Hugs

I also sorted all of BabyZing's current clothes and went through all 0-6 m baby clothes and sent the 0-3m pile to my DSIL2 (due next month with#10!)

I managed to tidy enough in our bedroom that the cot is not a storage space but available for BabyZing - he slept in it this morning for the first time ever! Shock Grin

as a side thing we had another lot of builders round on Saturday and they were brilliant, we'll 99% go with them. this also gave me a push to start getting myself in the zone to really think about how I want my future kitchen, bathrooms and upstairs utility room to be organised.
but this week kids are home so I'm planning to get on with all the Woolly Hugs projects.
it'd be great if i could sort DD's clothes as well.
And I need to mend a lot of clothes - very busy week ahead.

But I'm very happy with results so far!Smile

MrsNouveauRichards · 16/02/2015 16:18

Been rather slack with my lists recently. House has being going well because DH has taken over Grin

Unfortunately he's away for a couple of days and things have slipped rather drastically (oops!) So the children are going to be bribed with pocket money and we're going to blitz the place.

Will be using my timer and reporting back after every 20mins, going to start once the kids film has finished (10mins or so)

OP posts:
andsmile · 16/02/2015 16:47

I've just spent an hour hoofing around and got it straightened out nicely.

Hoovered the lounge.

Think I'm letting DS have a playdate tomorrow as house is tidy.

My room of doom is still there and unders the stair cupboard is still rammed. But all other areas are clean clear and functional.

MrsNouveauRichards · 16/02/2015 16:58

First 20/10 done

DS put duplo away
DD cleared dining room table and helped stack the dishy
I unloaded and reloaded the dishy, shifted some laundry, and set the sink and chopping boards soaking in bleachy water

Next 20/10 will be going upstairs

OP posts:
comeagainforbigfudge · 19/02/2015 09:52

I fear I have most definitely lost my get up and go.

Nothing but maintaining clean kitcgen/bathroom/living room going on here. With clothes washing as well (of course)

On the plus side OH has got wallpaper of 3 walls so far, just windows wall to do.

Then it'll be time to get carpet up, wood work sanded & painted, get in-laws in to paper walls. Jobs a good un. Grin

specially when I'm merely directing and not doing any work hee hee hee

RaspberryBlonde · 20/02/2015 19:12

I think we all have comeagain, it's very quiet here this week! Sounds like decorating is going well for you though.

I managed to get a lot of the day to day jobs like bathroom cleaning and dusting done today so hoping to crack on with de cluttering tomorrow although we have a busy weekend planned so maybe I'm a bit optimistic.

Have a bag of stuff that I need to take to charity shop tomorrow and I also got rid of a load of old clothes that aren't good enough in our recycling collection earlier this week. The aim is to free up enough space for DDs clothes that are currently too big so I can use her toy box for actual toys!

AdoraBell · 22/02/2015 22:32

We were on hols for Jan and half of Feb so have come back to mucho dust and a fucking any problem.

Kitchen cupboards and freezers/fridge have been unfucked, school uniform etc shopping is largely unfucked.

Now to get the fuck on with the rest Hmm

AdoraBell · 22/02/2015 22:52
