*have to

not have 3 to Confused

Wobblebeans · 06/02/2015 09:25

To do today:

take dd1 to school
2 loads of washing washed and hung (1st load is in machine now)
20/10 in kitchen
20/10 in dd1 and dd2's room
Pick up dd1 from school
Sainsburys for a few bits
Ironing

Although with a 10 week old and almost 3 yr old in the house we'll see how much of that actually gets undone by dd2 done Confused

flashyballs · 06/02/2015 10:56

What does 20/10 mean? Know the feeling about the baby, dd2 is 7 months old and determined not to let get anything done, I'm taking her upstairs in a minute to see if she'll go sleep

I've been bank and Morrisons, I've done a load of washing, done dishwasher.

I've still got to dry washing, empty dishwasher, hoover, polish and dust, take clean washing up and put away, sort out the plastic tub.

It seems so much Sad

RaspberryBlonde · 06/02/2015 11:13

Hello all, especially new people. Flashy I'm in a similar position regarding the end of maternity leave down to the sleeping baby on my lap. It's definitely not easy getting anything done!

20:10 is twenty minutes of unfuck ihg something followed by a ten minute break. Actually works really well as you can do a surprising amount in 20 minutes and you have a clear end point.

Thanks for the suggestion Zing, I'll try to find that thread. A 6 inch square should be manageable depending on timescales.

We are away this weekend so not much will be done but DH is home next week so I will be giving him a Big List!

Done today:
Made beds
Load of washing
Packing for trip

flashyballs · 06/02/2015 12:34

Ahh thank you, yes I understand, I'll have to give it a go.

Well dd2 was asleep upstairs but coughing woke her up so she's now asleep on me, on the plus side I've sorted the plastic tub out, the kids just have to see what they want to keep and what to charity bag, it looks so much better.

Emptied dishwasher and washing machine, I've done well this winter with keeping on top of my washing Smile

comeagainforbigfudge · 07/02/2015 11:21

Woo hoo, I made it thru the week.

Now on annual leave. Going to do bare minimum today and tomorrow but want to sort/clear small bedroom this week so that will be my main focus.

Will report back on Monday with my list.

Have a successful weekend ufyh-ing everyone Grin

(Hello to new peeps, I hope your motivation rubs off on me and I get my ufyh groove on)

flashyballs · 07/02/2015 14:02

Yayyy for annual leave Grin

I've put 4 bags into the boot ready to take charity shop, 2 of teddies and 2 with stuff the kids don't want, still more to do in their room but it's looking better already, I'm waiting for the teen to move out so ds2 can have his room Grin

afreshstartplease · 07/02/2015 14:04

Ooooo yay I need an unfuck thread!

comeagainforbigfudge · 07/02/2015 16:21

Ooh despite me not wanting to do much today I went and bought a carpet for baby's room! Got a deadline to get it gutted and redecorated for definite now Grin

AND put deposit down on pram!!

Feel scared, skint and grown up not necessarily in that order aaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

afreshstartplease · 07/02/2015 17:16

Sounds very exciting!

MrsNouveauRichards · 08/02/2015 15:37

Hello all!
I had planned an a major unfuck today, and now it is nearly 4pm. Oh fuck.

Going to crack on with some 20/10s....

OP posts:
afreshstartplease · 08/02/2015 17:24

Right I'm going to do a 20/10 before dcs bath time!

afreshstartplease · 08/02/2015 18:29

20/10 went well

Put on clean bedding
Emptied bathroom bins
Took out kitchen recycling
Put away Dc1&2 washing
Put away my washing
Quick tidy round my bedroom

Dc1 now bathed ready for bed
Dc2 in the bath

MrsNouveauRichards · 08/02/2015 21:17

That's a decent list afreshstart

Started with 2 x 20/10's and kept on going!

DONE
20/10 sorting laundry downstairs, clearing dining room table, and a bit of sitting room and hall
20/10 putting away masses of kids laundry with help from 7yr old DD.
Both bathrooms cleaned
Tidy of our room

Feel pretty much like I'm starting the week off on the right foot now.

TOMORROW'S LIST
Get up at decent time
Kids dressed and ready
Laundry re-shuffle
Dishy
Book bags etc...
Get kids to school
Get horse food
Go to yard for the day - check diary of what to do
DD after school club
DD brownies

Think that's it for now, would like to get to town tomorrow, and hoover if possible.

Happy Monday unfuckers Brew

So I had lots planned for the weekend but somehow not much actually got done. Took a few bits to the charity shop, bought a birthday present for dd2 and took dd1 for a haircut yesterday, and got a few bits of folded washing put away but that's about it for me. DP also made the kitchen totally spotless so now I don't have to do it today Grin
Back on track today though:

Get all dd's ready to take dd1 to school
Change all beds
Load of washing
20/10 in bathroom
Pick up dd1 from school
Sainsburys for a few bits

I'll see where I get with that for today Confused

afreshstartplease · 09/02/2015 08:38

Morning all

Just having a five minute sit down before I crack on

So far -
All dc up fed and dressed
One load in dryer
Half pots washed
Draining board wiped down
2 of 3 worktops wiped down

comeagainforbigfudge · 09/02/2015 08:51

Morning all.

My action plan today:

Tidy kitchen
Empty fridge.
Make some soup.
Put all clean laundry away.
Hoover.
Wash floors.
20/10 small bedroom

For fun.... paint toenails Grin

afreshstartplease · 09/02/2015 10:17

Off to do my first 20/10

Wish me luck!

Wobblebeans · 09/02/2015 18:53

So I've managed everything except the bathroom, that'll have to be first on the list for tomorrow, having a Velcro baby and a non stop 2yr old makes it nearly impossible to get a lot done Confused

Tomorrows list
Dd1 off to school
20/10 bathroom
Sort out dd1 and dd2s wardrobes (full of crap!)
20/10 in dd1 and dd2s bedroom
Pick up dd1 from school
Tea, reading with dd1

flashyballs · 09/02/2015 20:09

So peed off. Tumble dryer is knackered and we can't afford a new 1 yet Sad

MrsNouveauRichards · 10/02/2015 18:14

Oh no Flashythings always break at the worst time don't they.

DH is putting me to shame at the minute, every time I come home and find he's spent his lunch break doing laundry or hoovering or something Grin

OP posts:
flashyballs · 10/02/2015 20:39

They certainly doAngry

Not been able to do much as I've been at work but no hours next week so I'll crack on then. Just general tidying at the moment.

cikecaka · 10/02/2015 21:56

Ahh, fell of this train need to get back on! Marking my spot for the morning!

cikecaka · 11/02/2015 09:49

20/10 Sitting room
Light Fire
Tidy sitting room
Hoover

comeagainforbigfudge · 11/02/2015 09:51

Me too cikecaca
flashyballs that is rubbish bout your tumble dryer (although we don't have one so there might be a slight element of ha! going on jealousy is a terrible thing )

My plan

Go for swim *must do this as I'm getting sore when walking but need to exercise a wee bit
Go to asda for mini shop
Go to fabric shop (this is a treat really. Luvs fabric and thinking of all the things I could make but never do)
Clean kitchen and bathroom
Sort laundry
2x 20/10 - areas yet to be decided

DRINK MORE WATER must do this one for sure

Happy hump day for those at work x
