I'm pretty excited! Realised that the reason I can't keep on top of the housework is because I'm so disorganised and so cluttered. This shoud deal with both, and with a week per challenge, allows enough time for it to be habit forming (I hope!).

Theres also a Declutter your home in 15 minutes a day challenge running alongside it, which looks fab!

Starts on Monday - so, who's in?

That's reassuring thanks Smile I think the thing about not getting behind is true. I have a perfectionist, all-or-nothing streak that can put me off. I think I just need to accept that doing anything is better than nothing! Smile

Definitely do-able to catch up - the challenges aren't dependent on each other so you can do them in any order that suits really, and as Pocket said there are days when you'll not be doing much.

I have this month and next months challenges on the side of my fridge so I know what is coming up in next few weeks and can do those days if I have a quiet day and fancy some decluttering...

I like the slow/achievable pace of the challenges but also need to make some big changes as we might be selling this year so can't wait til October to tackle master bedroom. So today as well as reading the stuff on cabinets I kondod (kondoes) my shoes. Five pairs did not spark joy and are in a charity shop bag.

I'm behind too...in fact I'm still in last week! Will attempt a sprint over the next few days.

I love this whole project. Only just started today, and I'm giving myself permission to be fairly flexible with the timings. I've started to try and sort the house out over the last few months, but having someone else give me some structure is so helpful. i'm keeping a diary of the jobs to provide some motivation (and perhaps a tweaked template for next year!)

Been a bit derailed last few days by our shower and bath unit conking out. Will take two weeks to get a replacement part. Which is just what you want with a toddler and 3mo and a house to organise...

Still, the small challenges help - foils and wraps not too bad so I spent ten minutes yesterday and ten today on our junk spots. Not perfect yet but noticeably better.

Focusing on how much better things will be when don't spend ages each evening tidying cos things will have an obvious place to go

So today's challenge was tupperware (her thoughts on this here.

I did throw out a box which has lost its lid but have been so overwhelmed today that I felt I needed to do more than just the plastic box drawer. PLus most of mine are in use at the mo, freezer full with batch cooking.

So after throwing out the lidless box I went to bedroom and filled two bags with clothes which just make me feel sad that I am too old and saggy to wear them now. 8 bags so far this year :)

I didn't get round to doing any of the jobs last week so I am making up for it today.

Should get caught up and can start on next weeks in time then!

Just tiptoeing in to say "Hi!"

I didn't really fall off the wagon after only 9 days, honest!

Got a lovely free day tomorrow, so will catch up on this thread and catch up on the tasks, too, hopefully.

How was your free day afternoons?

I have finished January! Admittedly I missed out the last day - filling out a freezer inventory - but my freezer is small and I get things out of it most days so I know whats in it. The inventory would just be another piece of paper to clutter my kitchen.

I imagine I will get through Feb a bit early too - I do have a few money off vouchers hanging around but I can't imagine I need two days to declutter and organise them...
