QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 10/10/2006 22:14

too lazy to read all 103 posts

Had to go to MILs because she couldnt possibly cope with wall insulation being done without her son there... 30 minutes he said. I was sat on the sofa bored clueless for 3 1/2 hours!! We were supposed to go to Mothercare tonight MIL doesnt even know how to write a cheque! Im glad we're not moving in now.

Managed to get to Comet and Currys though - DH wants to buy a ridiculous priced TV!

TortUREoiseChamber · 10/10/2006 22:18

I bet you are glad your not moving in now!!
Is a big TV that important? I hated the TV xp2 had.It just took up too much space in the front room!

Skribble · 10/10/2006 22:20

My Dh wants a projector TV , a med sized flat screen is ideal.

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 10/10/2006 22:22

Skribble, DH just sold one Well, his dads. It was like a cinema screen - horrible!

DH picked about the most expensive in the shop Boys will be boys!

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 10/10/2006 22:25

Important to DH - in a way. Its "his thing". When we met, I made him sell his fast car, and buy an estate , he did want a swanky watch, but, he's just inherited about bloody 10, ditto with a swanky Hi-fi. To be fair, his parents didnt give him alot really so I think he deserves something nice. Especially since he does work hard.

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 10/10/2006 22:26

I havent been to pound land for years! I get carried away though - as you say, im like "ooooh, its only a pound"!!

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 10/10/2006 22:29

cor, 2 other threads about FLYing - its gone mad!

sahmtotwo · 10/10/2006 22:31

(((((((hugs))))))))))) Tort. I hope everything goes well for you.

Will just pop the sheet in the wash when I strip it at the weekend and see what happens. I know I'm a dirty mare but if I have so much washing I have to stick to a schedule of towels and bedding.

Skribble · 10/10/2006 22:32

I got caught out with Tesco's recent £1 promotion, got a tape measure for a pound and later discovered the value ones is about 69p. Same with this like the brush and pan and candles etc. Just because it is a pound you think its a bargain .

Skribble · 10/10/2006 22:38

Who would have thought that the housekeeping topic would become my favourite .

TortUREoiseChamber · 10/10/2006 22:41

Front room is tidy and hoovered.
Run myself a bath but need to do lunch boxes and kitchen first!

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 10/10/2006 22:43

I have had no problem with the net tonight but I have just spent the last the last hr or so with Ds1 being sick everywhere I got him back to sleep (on the sofa at mo) and then had to clean up. His bed, their bedroom and all down the stairs Poor little lad was crying more as he made a mess. he kept say sorry. How do you tell a 6 year old not to be so silly and not to cry. I kept telling him that it did not matter and mummy can soon have it cleaned up, but that would not stop him saying sorry I don't even know why he thought he had to say sorry for. I have never had a go at any of my children for being ill. If anything I have been in a bad mood and when they have been bad or hurt their selves I then have become a good caring mummy and it has taking me out of my bad mood.

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 10/10/2006 22:45

eeek!!

A huge spider has just walked over my computer screen!!!

Skribble · 10/10/2006 22:46

theHAUNTEDhazelnut, aww the wee soul ,

Skribble · 10/10/2006 22:46

Give the spider a duster quick

TortUREoiseChamber · 10/10/2006 22:47

Aww por ds. Hope he is ok soon.
Is that the same ds who had tummy ache the other night? Sounds like DD had a bug after all.

Yuk to spider too!

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 10/10/2006 22:49

Skribble.. Its gone into the printer now! I cant get dyson in there

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 10/10/2006 22:54

No its not tortoise, that was DS2 now its DS1, so yes I think DD must of had a bug. I suppose I will get it next. DS1 seems to had it worse has he was bad everywhere, where as DD and DS2 were not to bad. DS2 eats more than DS1 does so its not because DS1 has had more to eat.

How the hell do I get a spider from a printer?. DS1 will freak if he sees it.

And dont say with my fingers, I don`t do spiders!!

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 10/10/2006 22:56

awww, poor DS

Im having the worst tummy pains - think I might be just about to have my 1st period in aaaaaaaages

TortUREoiseChamber · 10/10/2006 22:57

Um, Take it ouside and shake it??
I can't imagine how/where you start cleaning all the sick up! None of mine have done that so far.

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 10/10/2006 23:13

Every where has had a good clean now tortoise Dustpan and brush to clean it all up with first then with I few buckets of hot water and cleaner.
I dont know where he had it all it him

I have but the printer out in the shed for now. I will have a look in the morning to see if its still in there. I cant see it tonight and it might run on to me

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 10/10/2006 23:14

Thanks Its them horrible pains that shoot down your legs aswell Must buy a hot water bottle!

TortUREoiseChamber · 10/10/2006 23:19

Q Don't buy a hot water bottle if you have a microwave! Get a soft snuggly soft wheat pad thing. They are great.Just heat them in the microwave! You can get them with lavender scent to aid sleep if you like lavender.(I personnally can't stand it!)
