OK. So bulk of wardrobe unfucked. Just bottom drawer to go. Mind you, results of unfucking strewn on floor but that's just until I go up with a bag to put it out. Had sad moment of trying on old size 12 trousers and realising I am a million miles off being able to do them up despite having lost a stone so far.
Have decided to charity shop them and if I ever get down to a size 12 again I will buy myself a new pair Grin

Just did quick Hoover round, put some washing on, folded some clean washing for dc to put away later, put dishwasher on and will have a wipe of the sides once dd has finished making a mess baking.

Not too bad for a start.

The spare room is my Everest but one day at a time...

Mumof3xx · 08/02/2014 14:17

I have almost found my kitchen

But it's nearly tea time so what's the point!

MrsNouveauRichards · 09/02/2014 09:58

Guess what I'm doing today? Yes, that's right, more fucking washing! I think I'm just going to set up camp by the machine, I may as fucking well!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 09/02/2014 15:02

I have been lazy too. Plus a bit broken with combination of toddler and SPD. Yesterday I put one load of washing on and hung it out. Oh and stuck a v small load of delicates in as well.

Today: hang out yesterday's wash and do another fucking load.
Small bathroom of doom. Gah.

Mumof3xx · 09/02/2014 15:12

I am really struggling to do anything but the routine daily slog e.g pots sweeping hoovering washing etc

Anyone else?

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 09/02/2014 16:40

Mumof, I am struggling to do that much! Just about managing daily dishes (most days) but not sweeping/hoovering etc. I don't think hoovering is a daily task - should it be? Sad

I can hear toddler crashing the uncleaned toilet lid up and down - back in a sec! Oh bugger it, DH is closer.

I am suffering from here-and-there-itis. I am tidying, but it's bits and pieces instead of one area of effort, so it doesn't make much difference. I am waiting for the hot water to heat up and then I will do the bathroom. If I do the bathroom then I can call the factor tomorrow and tell them that the hot tap is broken (again - it stayed fixed for approx 1 week after the plumber came last time) and actually let someone in to look at it. Right now, not a chance anyone is getting through the door. Must get on top of the clothes mountain too, though, because it lives in that bathroom. Sad

DH is putting clothes away. This is good! I know the UFYH app says to put laundry away as soon as it's dry, but there was so much of it I couldn't face it.

pumpkinsweetie · 09/02/2014 17:58

new to this thread and mumof3 I too am struggling to keep on top of daily tasks such as washing etc let alone keep on top of clutter build-up
With 5 dc including a 4 week old baby the house seems to be consuming me as there are simply not enough hours in the day to keep the house anywhere near looking tidy and rest sleep etc. But having said that if I keep on top of a few things a day im hoping to finally be clutter free, if my darling children would stop messing up every area I clearGrin

Mumof3xx · 09/02/2014 19:04

Ah I am so glad I'm not alone!

I hoover my living room most days as I have a crawling baby and don't want her eating bits of crap!

Kitchen I have to sweep after her dinner and tea as she self feeds and flings it everywhere!

I have been doing slightly better at putting clothes away lately but it seems so pointless As they are back out in a heap on the floor to be washed again in a couple of days!

I only have 3 dc pumpkin so take my hat off to you with 5! Infact I take my hat off to anyone with more than 3 because as much as I would love another newborn I don't think my body/mind/washing machine could take it!

Well all the dc are tucked up in bed. I'm going to start running myself a bath. Put some clothes away while this runs. Wash the last few pots and then get a bath! I won't stay in it too long though or I'll get all sleepy!

MrsNouveauRichards · 10/02/2014 07:42

I only have 2dcs but that's enough!

Today I need to do a spot of crisis cleaning. Tomorrow is crazy busy, and then I have a PTA meeting at my house in the evening.

I'm going to attempt a shortened version of the Unfuck Your Weekend. Back later!

MrsNouveauRichards · 10/02/2014 14:30

Afternoon all.

Unfucked
Horses and ridden
Lunch
Potty training (1 wee in the potty, no accidents yet today)
Clear up lunch
Laundry (ongoing)
Put dinner in sc for this evening
Hoovered and mopped kitchen/conservatory

vvviola · 14/02/2014 09:57

I've been so lax, this thread dropped off my 'threads I'm on'

But today I managed to completely unfuck the laundry - ironing basket empty, wash baskets empty Grin Slightly against the 20/10 rules, because I put on a box set and just powered through until it was done.

The linen cupboard is also sorted and the kitchen cupboards too Grin.

But there's still an awful lot of unfucking to do. And the laundry will mount up again. Why does it do that??? Wink

Mumof3xx · 14/02/2014 12:20

It dropped off mine too whoops

Off to do a 20/10

13loki · 14/02/2014 14:33

On way home from 3 days in Stockholm. Needed to go for passport interview for 2 month old DD, that took 40 minutes, so naturally we made it a 3 day trip.

We should get her passport only a few days after I am meant to send it in to the migration bpatd gor a residence card.

Mumof3xx · 15/02/2014 15:43

Some progress made today

All washing will be washed when current load finishes
Pots all washed
Bottles all sterilised
Living room hoovered
2/3rds of clothes put away
Table cleared
Work tops cleared and wiped
Hob cleaned
Toys thrown out

pumpkinsweetie · 15/02/2014 15:47

Had things under control for a few days, now things have slipped again and the mess is building up again!
Need to kick myself up the arse starting tomorrow

Well done mumof3 Smile

Mumof3xx · 15/02/2014 16:02

Thank you!

Keep having to move more and more things out of the reach of exploring baby! Living room will be empty if it carries on!

13loki · 17/02/2014 06:48

Ok, so yesterday I did 3 loads of normal washing after our little holiday. Then DD1 wet my bed, so an extra 2 loads. It is all either still drying or pu away. DS had a nose bleed, so his sheets are sitting in the futility room waiting for the laundry spray to work its magic. Must clean the vatdagsrum (living room) floor. But first, COFFEE! Then dress the 3 of us.

Mumof3xx · 17/02/2014 19:20

Been at work today

Got home to messy house

Need to face it soon ......

pumpkinsweetie · 17/02/2014 19:58

My house was a mess today too mumof3 half term for us I suppose!
All my own fault here though as im a sahm, but everytime I put away anything it finds it's way out again!

On one positive note I did put the ginormous mountain of laundry away and I have tidied the living room back to its normal state, not that its anywhere near to proper tidy. Baby steps I supposeGrin, the real work starts when kids go back to school.
I will tackle this house bit by bit

RedundantExpat · 17/02/2014 20:02

Didn't know this was still active. Unfucked some exams today. and am on day 5 of 30 day shred so unfucking my health.

RedundantExpat · 17/02/2014 20:03

Mumof3xx · 17/02/2014 20:12

Unfucked-

Pots
Bottles
Table
Highchair
Work tops
Recycling
2 lots dry washing taken up but not put away
One load in dryer
One load in washer

AdoraBell · 20/02/2014 02:05

I'm fighting a war against ants. It's about even at present.

DDs are back to school in a couple of weeks so I'm leaving the full on fumigation until then. So much easier to organize it without them at home. So for now it's a quick spritz of Raid every few days.

Other than that it's just general unfucking, getting rid of DD's old clothes/shoes is an ongoing job.

DH unfucked half the ironing this am, next time we come back from a holiday I'm only doing 1 load of washing, the rest can go in the bin wait. Did 5 on Tuesday and 3 today. There's only four of us and we went away for one fucking week, not a month.

Plants have been resurrected, both inside and out. Finally unfucked toms and peppers into the garden a couple of weeks ago but may have to remove them. Authorities here are shit hot on some things and our neighbour's fruit tree was inspected today by customs.

Mumof3xx · 22/02/2014 06:56

Must get bk unfucking today

Mumof3xx · 22/02/2014 11:16

Pots

Furniture moved
