Serious case of can't be arsedness here. DD and I had an altercation over breakfast this morning, which she won, and both wound up clarted in porridge. The kitchen table, floor and chairs are disgusting. I phoned DSis to moan instead of unfucking, and then had to run to meet a friend and take DD to her swimming.

Now home, need to:

Get DD to nap
Empty dishwasher and refill
Clean every surface in the kitchen including chair legs and backs.

Unfucked -

One load washing
Quick tidy in bedroom
Brought bin round
Put shopping away
Had a bath
Brought down rubbish
Wiped work tops

Yay it's Saturday! No school run! But on the downside I have to find my own motivation to do stuff (boo)

Too much to do to list, but going to crack on with some 20/10s and report back.

About to start the day's unfucking. Must start earlier tomorrow!

Right, have done two 20s, no 10 in between. I have:

Emptied dishwasher
Filled dishwasher
Washed chopping board that doesn't fit in dishwasher
Wiped down all surfaces except table
Scrubbed high chair
Binned lots of crap and taken bin out
Hoovered kitchen floor

Now taking a 10 min break and then will mop kitchen floor. And maybe put a wash on.

DH has tidied living room and is now unfucking the Ikea bag's worth of crap that came out of the old car before we sold it. There are neat piles of things all over the corner of the room, but he's slowly removing them.

To Do between Sun and Tues pm (MW making home visit Wed am):

Mop kitchen floor
Hoover living room, sprinkle bicarb where the dog peed last night and then hoover again.

Clean bathrooms
Hoover and mop bathroom floors
Lots of clothes washing
Keep on top of dishes and kitchen surfaces

Hoovered living room. This took 20 mins exactly. Gaah. Energy burst is over!

Afternoon all.

As per usual, our tidying the house pre dinner guests last night was literally just before they arrived. I had managed to change 5 mins before they arrived and my DH was still in the shower.

Today I have had rather an easy day, but still battling the ongoing problem that is the laundry pile. I 've also finally put the pile of towels away, had a bath and washed my hair, been for coffee, done the horses (1st visit) done school runs 1 and 2, done lunch and read to DS.

Still to unfuck:
Get dressed and brush hair
Get DS re-dressed
More laundry
Quick tidy round so I don't have to do it this evening
Pick DD up from after school club
Feed kids a snack
Put horses to bed
Go to friend's house for dinner (with kids)
Try to get home early
Kids in bed
Night in by myself - the Wii fit? Or wine and the Muskateers on the telly?

Last night I was lazy and did nothing. Today I have

Cleaned bathroom, inc windowsill
Hoovered & mopped bathroom floor
Hoovered & mopped kitchen floor
Swept hearth and piled ashes back into grate in a slovenly manner

I have people over tomorrow so probably won't manage much unfucking, but I'm quite pleased with the house now. DH did the dishwasher and kitchen surfaces and general tidying in kitchen and living room

Stupid tablet froze! Meant to say that I also hoovered living room.

To Do: the other bathroom which is horrendous, plus massive washing pile. Not tonight, though.

How long do you reckon itvtakes you to keep on top of things during the week? I find it takes closer to 40 mins of us both working - dishwasher, surfaces, hang out washing, new load, general tidy of main living area. That's not touching any deeper cleaning or tge bedrooms. I was secretly hoping that 20 mins effort a night would do!

The joy of living with small people! There is always someone to undo all the work.

Our plans for the afternoon have been cancelled due to the weather, so a quiet day pootling about at home and the yard now. Must try not to be lazy though and keep battling my way through the never ending laundry pile.

Yes well at least one of my small people has been peeing on the bathroom floor so that's a job for today

Oh, I'm home.

My house is on the surface clean and tidyish but needs SERIOUS unfucking when you open a cupboard door/look under a bed/look in either of the dc's rooms.

Today I will unfuck my wardrobe which is sorely overdue.

I fucking love swearing but all my friends are good girls without my potty mouth. I try to curb it as much as I can but for fucks sake, I need to get some of this shit out of my house. This is the biggest house we've ever had and it's still bursting at the bloody seams.
