Welcome one and all, especially if you love writing a great list, then sitting back and MNing crossing everything off.

And extra welcomes to those of us who write something we've already done on the list just for the satisfaction of getting to cross it off Grin

Evening.

Whilst we certainly had better weather, it was not beach weather. DH got soaked caught in a shower whilst cutting the grass. I am Envy at JKS' weather.

This weekend wasn't hugely productive but got some jobs done.

Bedroom tidy
DD's room passable
Dinner and tomorrow's dinner prepared
Windows cleaned
Some camping stuff located
Groceries ordered online
Clean clothes put away
Avon order done

This coming week is about PTA stuff so not sure what else will be achieved.

JKSLtd · 21/04/2013 20:46

I'm sure the pusher-downer thing for your mini muffin pan was absolutely essential JKS Grin.

I went into list mode today and started lists for holiday and DS's party (in 9 weeks time). They are too tedious and as yet ill formed to post. But I will do mini lists as I go along.

Tomorrow
Get Dcs out the door in one piece
Work
Dinner
Speak to person at my work about doing some work at home for me
Exercise class
Bank

Minimammoth · 23/04/2013 08:16

Morning. How are you all. sorry i have not read back through threadBlush
I have been completely overwhelmed with stuff and my list making has gone to pot. I attempted one last week in order to gain some control, but failed miserably. So here I am. < licks pencil>
Meet up with C
Update invoices
Kitchen floor conservatory floor
Plant spuds
Washing

I am rationing to a daily list so that I don't drown under sub lists.

JKSLtd · 23/04/2013 16:27

He is home. And still recovering JKS. We de-molded his house, and he has had some heating put in, so it is drying out. He said he just never saw it or smelled the damp. He has stopped smoking too. A miracle in itself.
Did not achieve much today, got nowhere near computer. I will be brave tomorrow.

lydiariley1978 · 23/04/2013 21:38

Ok I'm done. All in all two days gone in spring cleaning lol :)

hey everyone :) remember me Grin

How's everyone doing?
Dd is 3 weeks 1 day, this place is a tip! ... Well, its okish. Except from the kitchen, bathroom and my bedroom.

The kitchen is ok but full of skanky clothes washing that needs to be done. I can do the washing no problem but its the drying .. I don't want the tumbly drier on constantly, just can't afford the electric. Plus its lovely outside so the clothes should be on the line. But my washing line is outside in a communal area, which means I have to leave the flat, leave the building, walk along the road and into the carpark, which is at the side of the building ... I can't carry a basket of washing, bag of pens and dd in a car seat that far. I've pulled a stomach muscle and my backs killing, I can't even lift the washing let alone the carseat with my 9lbs dd inside it.
I managed to put the duvet cover and a tea towel on the line today. I've got a load of towels and bedding in the washing machine at the moment. Don't think I'm gonna be able to get it outside. :(
I've got some clothes in the tumbly drier eating my precious electric

I've picked up all clothes from my bedroom floor and chucked them on the bed, need to sort out clean from dirty and wash/hang up/put away ect

Dishes done...

I'm gonna try focus on the livingroom today, not dirty but few things in wrong places. Gonna have a tidy up. Try sort it out a bit

:) knackered.com

Ds is off from school with either suspected chicken pox and dd has had a rather explosive nappy today, she seems a bit upset. Maybe she has a bad stomach.

Trying my best not to pass out on the sofa Grin

twinklesparkles · 25/04/2013 12:29

I meant bag of pegs :)

twinklesparkles · 25/04/2013 12:31

Gaah, I also mean, ds is off from school with either suspected chicken pox or an infected ear and the rash has spread to other parts of his body

Bloody hell. I think faster than I type

:)

SlatternismyMiddlename · 25/04/2013 18:13

Welcome back Mini!

Hellllllooooo Twinkles - lovely to hear from you. Could a Neighbour help you hang up washing? Or if little Twinkles was asleep would the baby moniter stretch to where you have to hang stuff up? Don't forget that as a mother of a little one you are officially allowed to let the place go to rack and ruin - it is the law, I know this, I checked.

I had a horrible day at work, so currently on settee drinking vodka - a healthy approach to stress I think you will find. Tomorrow I will be a domestic goddess - I promise!

On a positive note I have arranged for someone I know to come round next week and sort out all my paperwork, for a fee of course. I am officially outsourcing my chaos. I feel like a chief executive not really, but it's nice to pretend

Minimammoth · 25/04/2013 18:17

Nice to here from you twinkles. I am totally swamped with stuff my lists have lists and sub lists. Going to theatre tonight though, am really looking forward to it. My little GD2 is 2 tomorrow, so are off at the weekend to party.Smile

JKSLtd · 25/04/2013 20:30

Twinkles - can I just point out you have a teeny tiny baby & another DC at home sick. Go easy on yourself!
The washing thing does sound annoying, can you manage the baby in a sling with a laundry basket on your hip? We've got some that are curved so fit around your hip quite well. Or even some kind of backpack for the laundry?

I haven't managed to list, or even really do much either the last couple of days, just usual routine, plus AF hitting with an ouchy bang.

I must get on with DS1's party invitations...

Fri:
morning routine
playgroup with DD
pop into DS2's PTA morning
home for lunch & DD"s nap (trying to wake her earlier than usual to see if she sleeps better at night)
productive use of time....
meeting with Senco at DS1's sch
sch runs
DC tea, bath & bed
me to Rocky Horror Show Grin
DH out to a work thing

OP posts:
Minimammoth · 26/04/2013 08:01

Rocky Horror JKS, are you dressing up?

num3onway · 26/04/2013 09:33

Can I join? In desperate need of sorting house out!

I have 3 DC, they are 5 (at school) almost 4 and 3 weeks 3 days! On maternity leave and feeling the healthiest I have done since before getting pregnant with dc3 so finally feel I can tackle the house!

Todays list-->
Hoover bedrooms
Mop bathroom
Mop kitchen
Put away washing
One was load
Clean bathroom suite
Move junk to shed
Sort out everyones clothes, bag some for charity

twinklesparkles · 26/04/2013 12:09

Omg!! Jks are you going to rocky horror?? Take me take me Grin

I love this thread you guys are all so lovely,

So far today I have :

Gotten pooed on
And thrown up on
1 load of washing (the poo covered bedding and my dressing gown)
And 1 load of tumble drying.

Sky box keeps fucking up, and I can't put the baby down.

Ds is being a good boy though and playing in his room, so that's helping. although making me feel slightly shit he has to be stuck in his room, even though I can hear plenty of singing and shouting and he's clearly enjoying himself

Not doing anything else today except finishing the tumbly drying ... If I can put dd down that it :( she's not a happy baby :(

FreakoidOrganisoid · 26/04/2013 12:52

Ahhh twinkle you have my sympathies. Ds was not a happy baby either and it was really really hard. I used to hang my washing out with him in a sling (did everything with him in the sling tbh because he just used to scream and at least then I felt like I was attempting to soothe him!). I think I'd be tempted to just tumble it now I have one though.
