Well, I've spent the entire morning looking for knitting patterns, so I've managed to procrastinate while performing one of the tasks on my list

Have loads to do, not much time and zero motivation. Sort me out slatterns!

I did it all plus some. I even read a bit of the textbook! It's not sticking in my sieve brain though so am back on it now. 5 tests next week. Eek!

Have skim read thread... what happened about your wills?

We got mumblechum1 to do ours, she's got an advert somewhere in Legal. She was great, we had ours double checked by SIL who is a solicitor, and she couldn't fault it. (Didn't like to ask SIL to actually write it, as she is a Trustee). All done by email and one fifteen minute phonecall, with the actual wills sent to us in the post - took a total of an hour and a half spread over ten days.

Haven't sorted wills yet spoke to DH briefly but RL got in the way, will keep it on the list to do for now...

Got totally fed up with DS1 today, lost his bookbag & contents, no idea where it is. I give up. Or at least I'm trying to give up!
Not sure if it's the right thing but I made a poster of 'Things DS1 has lost' and written out each thing. I said I would cross things off if he found them.
He wasn't impressed when I stuck it up but atm I'm prepared to try anything...

• cash in Tesco vouchers (what for - towards a day out, just which one?)

• DD birthday; presents Bought wrap presents/assemble house; bake small cakes/buy big cake; picnic on Sat planned
• DS1 Lego party & presents, etc.

Afternoon!

I've worked my arse off this morning.

Done:

Taken down voiles in my room, landing and living room.

Cleaned windows in bedroom/living room/landing.

Hoovered whole house.

Cleaned bathroom.

Decluttered the 2 'corners of doom' in my room, and sorted loads of things for next boot fair.

Changed my bed.

Washed voiles and rehung.

2 loads of laundry.

I think I'm justified in sitting down for a bit with a tea and doing some knitting :)

Morning all.

JKS - you are on the ball this morning. Wednesday was my day of frenetic activity in the morning and lazed in the afternoon. It was lovely but I did have my DCs running about in the background so it wasn't really that relaxing. I have mastered the technique of having a wee doze whilst keeping my ears open, if that makes sense.

TobyLerone - you are putting me to shame, stop with the spring cleaning!
Although to be fair it is very easy to put me to shame
