Welcome one and all, especially if you love writing a great list, then sitting back and MNing crossing everything off.

And extra welcomes to those of us who write something we've already done on the list just for the satisfaction of getting to cross it off Grin

Ah the joys of teeny babies. Am off to see my Trimble tomorrow it is gd2's second birthday so I have been doing choc buns, with sprinkles and glitter. JKS must be working on her 'Janet ' outfit unless she is Frank.

JKSLtd · 26/04/2013 17:01

Haha, I went as Janet last time as I was pg, and thought demure was more appropriate!

I have a short black, lace-edged dress from Primark, meant to be a 'slip' I think (does anyone still wear them?!) with fishnets and heels. It's not the raciest outfit going but it's as far as I'm prepared to go for now!
A friend went on Wed and wore a basque with short shorts, her DH apparently was planning speedos + fishnets.... Grin
I've yet to see photos though.
Their teenage DD was horrified, lol.

JKS - should I worry that my friend (??) has just texted me to say that I should watch Hoarders next door, as that was me??!!

I agree with JKS - people with little ones - lower standards forthwith - if for no other reason than making me feel better Smile

JKSLtd · 30/04/2013 13:48

Eek, Slattern, were you ever as bad as the people on the programmes?! I feel sorry for them mostly, life has gone wrong & they haven't coped well at all. But by the end of each one I've seen they really have turned their lives around.

Evening.

JKS - I didn't actually get to watch the hoarding programme but I'm pretty sure I know the level of hoarding that there must have been - I do not hoard like that but my friend likes to remind me that if I don't change my ways they will be making a programme about me in the future. She, of course, exaggerates Smile.

Freakoid - presumably your absolute has been much anticipated, so congratulations.

There must be something in the air as I am in DS birthday planning mode too.

I have lots to do tomorrow. Best bit is I have a person coming round to help me sort out the mountains of paperwork littering the house. I am fed up of losing stuff!

JKSLtd · 02/05/2013 20:22

Slattern - intrigued by this person coming round tomorrow?

Freak - sorry x-posted earlier. Yey!! Wine Grin

OP posts:
SlatternismyMiddlename · 02/05/2013 20:57

JKS - not really anything excited. I recently lost some important documentation somewhere in the house. It was the final straw. I asked someone at work, who I trust, who is very good at organising to come round and help me sort out my home filing. I'm paying her per hour. Desperate times......

JKSLtd · 02/05/2013 21:00

Hope it works out.
Reminds me of when i was at boarding school & the food was shite. I would tidy up other girls lockers for bits of their packed lunch Grin Blush i enjoyed it anyway!

OP posts:
SlatternismyMiddlename · 02/05/2013 21:14

Missing documentation has also prompted me to clear out. I shredded a load of stuff yesterday and downsized my 'box of cards that I just can't through out' by a quarter. I hope to continue tomorrow. Baby steps Smile

JKSLtd · 03/05/2013 09:44

Slattern enjoy today I'm feeling quite envious!

Cycle to playgroup

My friend couldn't come around to help, but because I was in the mood I binned loads out of the study anyway. It was quite therapeutic, but I'm at that unfortunate stage where everything looks messier than it was before.

Today is about trying to continue with the purge.

twinklesparkles · 04/05/2013 12:54

Heya guys.

So disappointed, absolutely lovely weather this week.. Now dh has the weekend off and its cold, dark and windy and starting to fooking rain :(

Todays plan:
Wash dishes

Wash dishes
Make pizza dough for tommorow
Wash dishes
Make dinner (enchiladas)
Wash dishes

That's it :)

Always doing dishes ... Think I need to get rid of some then therell be less to wash Wink

FreakoidOrganisoid · 04/05/2013 17:18

Thank you. Very happy Smile Was beginning to think it would never come.

Slattern I hate that stage but it does usually inspire me to keep going as I don't want to have done all that work for nothing.

Done list

Wash up
Bath and bed dc

Fairly productive day.

JKSLtd · 04/05/2013 17:26

Very productive Freak!

I'm in a grump. Not sure why, not PMT, have been on pill for just over a week, maybe it's reacting badly with me.
DS1 is driving me potty, DH can't do anything right, DD is pestering me. DS2 is the only one I seem not to be snapping at, but then as long as he has my phone he's happy!
WIll keep an eye on things as I reacted badly to Cerazette a few years ago and went a bit doolally. Have also been sleeping badly at night but had naps after lunch 2 days in a row now.

DONE:
my lie in (couldn't sleep though)
breakfast in bed (see I should be happy!)
bus trip to town (free ticket thing going on this week)
measure kids feet, new shoes for DS2
lunch in town
home for DD's nap
DH some gardening
DS1's homework & some reading
look up some camping ideas for summer
card & present for birthday party tonight

TO DO:
food, DC bath & bed
cheer up!
out to party (no idea about dress code but think hostess is dressing up so best make an effort)

Also, weird or what: invites out yesterday, 1 reply instantly (yes) and no other replies at all! Come on people!!
