Welcome one and all, especially if you love writing a great list, then sitting back and MNing crossing everything off.

And extra welcomes to those of us who write something we've already done on the list just for the satisfaction of getting to cross it off Grin

I have just been down to friends house so this list is for him.
Wipe clean and de mould every windowledge in the house.
Wash all doors.
Dust all bookshelves, books and CDs
Hoover right through.
Scrub back door and de mould
Clean windows
Find homes for all spiders
Stare at kitchen cupboards for a loooong time. Then avoid.
Light fire and make it cosy.
Pluck up courage to look in fridge.

Will need face mask I think.

My bedroom to tackle today. Hmm

No sleep from Velcro baby, I got him into his cot, asleep and then DP came up to bed, decided he looked sad so got him out. Confused

Tidying will be inbetween keeping my eyelids propped up.

Flowers for Twinkles and little Twinkles. Many congratulations on the arrival of your little one.

I'm off to see if I can talk DH into another baby no chance, but he lets me indulge in little moments of madness when I contemplate another baby knowing my sanity will return

Congratulations Twinkles!!! Sounds ideal home so soon but yes rest up and do nothing except baby-moon stuff :)

Happy Birthday Freaki :)

Got going with birthday party prep today, actually finished some things rather than just starting more and more as I have been doing.

DS1 had a friend round, it snowed all day (not settling) and what did they choose to do? hang about on the climbing frame nearly the whole time Hmm boys...as DD said whenever she looked out the window Grin

pack up for loft/give away too small clothes for DS2 & DD
DS1 to friend's for 1st ever sleepover (pack bag & drop him off, then cross fingers!)

Good morning.

The family had a day out yesterday. Bad news - no housework done. Good news - we weren't in the house to mess it up.

I'm not feeling inclined today to do much. Must get motivated.

Hello all.

JKS - it's probably too late, but have a lovely break.

After Easter my house feels a wee bit more under control, but it is precarious. Tomorrow, when I'm off work is just about keeping control.

I have now booked my summer holiday, 3 months to go, so will create a summer holiday list soon.

Brain is too tired to do anything else right now so will hit the Wine instead.

Please may I join?

I'm desperately trying to get my house into a fit state to put on the market. This means full-on decluttering, decorating, some DIY and garden sorting. And all this as soon as possible.

I daren't post my whole list, but I'll do today's and the rest of the week's.

Today

~ Empty DS's bedroom bench and remove from his room done
~ Empty falling-apart IKEA drawer set and dismantle done
~ Hoover DS's room done
~ Sort out giant fire hazard carrier bag stash
~ Sort out some more stuff for boot fair this weekend
~ Make banana bread
~ Make pasta bake for dinner

Tomorrow

~ Take drawer set and other crap to the dump
~ Take box of books to charity shop
~ Spend at least an hour sorting out some stuff in the loft
~ Change bedding in my room
~ Make myself look actually presentable (clean, shiny hair, clothes which aren't jeggings covered in dust, make-up) for picking DH up from the station after work because he's only seen me looking like a disaster area this week, poor man!

Weekend

~ Do some more in DS's room
~ Do a boot fair

Next week: my bedroom!

I've hit a wall now, but I did discover 2 designer handbags I'd forgotten I had and which are going straight on eBay :o

Report
weloveourfamily · 11/04/2013 15:34

Well done toby just make sure you dont burn out. Thats what i did but at least the handbags were worth it.

Now to get my bum into action and stop putting it off Smile

Report
TobyLerone · 11/04/2013 15:55

Hmmm. Upon further inspection, it would seem that the handbags are not all they seem. Having spent the last hour researching, they might not be genuine. If they're fake, they're excellent, but I don't think I'll risk putting them on eBay. They can go in the boot fair pile!

I won't burn out. Rightmove is my inspiration :o

Report
weloveourfamily · 11/04/2013 16:33

Definitley dont risk it. Im struggling to get stuff done today but im still making some sort of progress at least. So far in the last two hours i have washed and sterilized bottles, washed dishes, folded dried clothes, hung up wet clothes (in serious need of a tumble dryer), put on another wash and now to hoover house Smile

Report
TobyLerone · 11/04/2013 16:37

They're not mine anyway. I'm assuming they're my sister's, left here from when she lived with me about 6 years ago. If she's not wanted them back since then, I think I'm safe to get rid of them.

Thanks for reminding me -- I've got washing in the machine and it finished about half an hour ago. Best get back up off my bum!
