Happy Easter everyone!

Freak I hope you had a good time?

We had a lovely day on Friday for DS2's party, didn't do much on Saturday and then went down to my parents for the day yesterday and got back late.
I've had a massive lie in this morning Blush

Few things that need to get done just to keep things ticking over.

TO DO
2 loads of washing
Clear out my car ready for service tomorrow
Book Waitrose delivery for Friday
Change our bed
Online banking and info to accountant

havent done much all weekend with being out and about alot. family over from dubai. so far today i have:

made up beds
brought washing down
tidied up livingroom
made up bottles

and to do:
wash dishes
put on wash
clean kitchen
hang up clothes
hoover house
mop house
clean bathrooms

son was up all night so havnt been up long. xx

God i hate migranes but still powering on. Everyone is welcome i love reading everyones list sad i know. So on top of my list below ive managed to do three more things. Time to hoover and mop now. Think i have an obsession with mopping x

Did all of yesterday's list, but only managed one load of washing so that is the priority today!

TO DO
Car being picked up for service
At least 3 loads of laundry
Make bolognaise sauce for tomorrow
Boys out to play in the garden while the sun is shining

Maybe more later!

I have until the 8th April to make my home 'hospital' clean because that's when we start home iv antibiotics for DS1.

Not usually an issue except I have 2 kids on half term and a 5 month old Velcro baby!

Argh!!!

Where on earth do I even begin?!?!

I think I'd like to start on the bathroom, so IF I can settle baby, I'll be aiming to,

Scrub and bleach the shower,

Empty the cupboard of unused or half finished toiletries.

Sweep and scrub the floor.

Scrub the sink unit.

(We have a separate toilet room that I've already done) Smile

Hope everyone had a lovely easter,

On sunday, I did quite a lot more washing/drying, I put away 3 baskets of washing. But didn't get round to sorting the cubby holes aka the shelves in our wardrobe that are just jammed with clothes I've not bothered folding away

That was my plan for yesterday but was unwell so dh put me to bed.

Today:
More washing
More tumble drying
Putting away clothes
Folding clothes
Try and make a start on the cubby hole

The Slattern household had a fab day with family members on Easter Sunday and a lovely day out yesterday. So today is tidy day. I will update my list later.

Mine is:

  • sort out my bedroom (as usual the dumping ground for all the things we don't want on show when guests come round.) Not even attempted. Am drinking coffee and on MN instead.
  • make some food for the freezer. Started.

Nkf, I have the same problem with my bedroom, everything seems to end up there from all different parts of the house. Why oh why?

I'm currently on holiday at my parents so can't really do much, enjoying the break but will have lots to do once home.

So far today all i have done is:

made the beds

rang dreams for a headboard ordered 6 months ago!!!

Trying to get everything ive put off done and that was a major pain. I dont know why i have such a phobia of phoning people. So much more to do Sad

Ha, haven't got far at all, I the Roomba hoovered the lounge. Velcro baby was erm Velcro so when he napped on me, I fell asleep too..Blush

I need to do the dishes and another million loads of washing, I might have to do it all in the evenings at this rate so DP can take baby duty.

Titsalina hospital clean sounds terrifying! I'm now pretty tidy and cleanish but about a million miles away from hospital clean.

Have been to supermarket and to buy a present. Have bought some shoes that will hopefully go with dress for christening on sun.

Need to

Finish sorting dc cupboard.

Freakoid - how was your holiday, were you bikini ready??

I have been a busy girl but not much to tick off the list. My DD very helpfully emptied all her jigsaws into the middle of her room a couple of weeks back. At the time I was so frustrated with her I just scooped them all together and bucked them in a box, today was the day I sorted them out. My back is killing me from bending over on the floor.

Loads of washing done, now the ironing to follow.

We have been away & then had visitors, so not much productive done.
Some washing and that's about it.

Oh I did sort through the boys clothes, still have to do DD's.

TO DO rest of today:
wash sofa covers DS2's nappy leaked on (nice)
wash his clothes from same incident
try and reset phone, it keeps saying No Sim...
maybe even start packed lunch prep for day out tomorrow
DC bath & bed
DH home at some point & dinner

Wed:
packed lunches for trip to zoo
charge DS1's camera & my phone
remember DS1's swimming stuff in case we make it back in time
zoo for day out with SN group
home for teatime?
DC to bed, dinner & bed

Morning. I need a list as I am in danger of thinking that I am on top of things, just before the avalanche. Have been in the garden trying to shove in bulbs bought last autumn Blush but can only work for half an hour before fingers freeze off.
Have also got to check friends house before he comes home this weekend, grim cobweb territory.
Cat still limping, but seems a lot better.
Husband still in pain.

Holiday was lovely. No cooking, cleaning, childcare for a whole week Grin just lounged around reading by the pool, lots of walking, trips to the beach. I think bf would have been happy to do a few more trips or activey things but I was enjoying being lazy!

Was fairly bikini ready although bf has put a pic on fb of me in bikini that is giving me palpitations every time I see it! I may have felt ok wearing it on hol but not sure I want the whole of fb looking at it!

Today I need to clean the floors (didnt happen yesterday) then my friend is coming to visit :-)

Sort more clothes/toys for gumtree/clothes bank (managed to shift some last night! Getting there!)

Freakoid - glad you had a good holiday. There is only one photo of me in a bikini in existence, on honeymoon and its a long distance shot, so I can just about tolerate it. No way on this earth ever, ever, would one go on Facebook Smile

I'm liking reading everyone's lists, it has reminded me that I need to have a bit of a sort through the boys clothes - and my own for that matter!

Cleaner has been this morning for her short visit so the bathroom and kitchen look fab and shiny even if everywhere else is a bit of a bomb site.
Took the boys out for a long walk and to the park earlier, and now we are having a film afternoon.

TO DO
Move laundry along (where does it all come from, baskets are overflowing)
Make bolognaise for dinner
Research May weekend away
Finalise Waitrose order for Friday
Research new hairdryers - mine blew up earlier and scorched my bedroom carpet. ShockHmm
