I'm on my own this weekend too. Am waitibg in for my parcel redeliveries so have just been reading and doing work this morning. Done a bit of washing and cat piss/shit cleaning too. Hoping to go shopping this pm but depends what time parcels come.

I can't be sunbathing as I won't hear the door from garden but at least it means I am actually getting my work done. Every cloud and all that. And then tomorrow morning I can lie in garden all morning until dc come back

Hot here again today. I hate to be one of 'those' people, but it is too hot. I like it around 20 c otherwise I can't get anything done.

Noooo never too hot!! Although I agree with not getting things done when it is hot. I think that's partly me being lazy and just wanting to lie in garden sll day when it is sunny in case it's raining tomorrow and I'll have wasted the sun!

The heat isn't helping the cst piss stink of my house either. He goes home tomorrow thank god.

New tutor came to work today, basically the old ond was a waste of space and has not uploaded my work so I hsve to redo lots of it . Still I at least have some units to get on with now.

Need to tidy my room (makes me feel lije a teenager)

Put last bits in learning diaries for leavers (sob-welled up three times today and it's only monday )

Aww, end of year blues.

Need to sort something for DS2's teachers, I think he has 5 in his class, plus 2 on the bus. Dunno if I'll go for 7 bottles of wine? It's easy/lazy but pricey. But chocs will just melt in this heat.
I'm in his school nearly every day this week, it's mad. Today bike ride from there plus drop off some stuff, tomorrow end of year assembly, Thirs parents eve & meet new teacher & Fri last pta coffee morning of the year, then Sat we're going for Soft Play club!

Been for a mega bike ride this morning with DD, my legs are knackered now!

Scary how quick time goes by once they are at school! DD is just coming to the end of reception.

DH and I having 'Date night' (cringy I know!) Which basically means nachos and beer in front of the last weeks telly

I normally do wine too jks but there are 7 teachers between the dc, plus ds has a few extras in his class who supposedly work with the children with sn but who seem to do lots with the class as a whole and it was just spiralling up and up. Had a mini freak out about it in sainsburys earlier and decided to just get each class worth of teachers some posh biscuits to share. Tight maybe but it's the thought that counts The dc have handmade cards for them so hopefully that will show tgem we care!

Bonjour, I have returned from France reinvigorated with getting more organised. I shall call back in later after I have read what everyone has been up to.

Way too much bread and wine was consumed - so I need to reorganise my diet while I'm at it!

Cat went tues so yesterday I pulled out all the downstairs furniture and hoovered and shampooed the lot. Czn still smell wee a bit though

This eve I have done nothing apart from dinner and clearing up from. Need to pack as going camping tomorrow for the weekend. Head not in right place for this

I can still smell cat wee in one place too from about a year ago it's bloody hard to get rid of.

Did a lot at the yard this afternoon and I am knackered!

Mmmmmm, way to hot to deal with the humongous ironing pile. I'm sure it would be alright for me to go to work in pj's tomorrow - there ain't anything else.

Spent most of the weekend at the beach - so most of the house is tidy if a bit sandy...

House has finished tidier than it started, so I call that a success!

Tomorrow morning is going to be spent finishing the tidying and running the hoover round. Maybe even a bit of mopping!

Ok, scratch that, I have just looked at the weather for tomorrow - 32c! Which means I'm going to get the horses done as early as possible and spend the rest of the day complaining I'm too hot :o

Mrs R I like your thinking! However after spending the morning at the beach, the afternoon lounging and dozing on the sofa I did some ironing this evening. I actually had sweat running down my back so stripped to my underwear! Not a pretty sight I can tell you, thankfully we had no visitors.

Only 3 more baskets to go - that'll teach me to go on holidays without getting down the pile before I left.

I hope you are all enjoying the weather. I'm told its going to break here by Wednesday, not sure about the rest of the UK.
