I thought it was time for a new Autumnal thread for all slatterns.

This thread is welcome to all who like to write lists or have loads of jobs to get done or if you need a kick up the bum for motivation. Also good for support with relationships, random advice on moths and birthday cakes!

• DS2's christmas show DONE aww was v sweet
• DS2's teacher presents into sch DONE
• lunch & tidy up DONE
• DD nap doing
• Wii time with DS1 DONE
• try and fix one set of lights DONE! (oddly satisfying)
• try and persuade DS1 to write in a couple of cards Done 3
• give bus ladies their chocs at drop off time
• DS1's swimming lesson, his tea at McDs
• other DC tea, all bath & bed
• me out to Christmas dinner with other mums at pub (main xmas event for me, yey!)

Ongoing:

• family tree (scanning in old certs & photos & email contact); Dug out files to start again; Fiddling about with it a bit atm
• buy frames to hang on the wall & hang up as many photos as poss; need some sizes; get sizes into phone for TKMaxx trip
• sort wills; nudge DH to see what he wants to do
• clear out of the top of my desk
• kids photos albums; upload onto Snapfish; order printouts; put in albums. Step 1; sort all photos on iPhoto Doing
• try and sell unwanted light & cosmetic sets & extra slippers; eBay?

Christmas:

• find out if younger brother might be coming; Still vague
• prob not doing present for DBro in Bermuda; messaged SIL re not sending stuff; no reply getting worried!
• Nanny presents; money & chocs need to get cash for her card
• gift bags for DSis's presents for the DC DONE
• get DS1 to write in some cards; 3 done, how many more to bother with?
• last food list; added to
• post DC photo calendar to PIL (no rush as they're away for weeks)

Got a 'do' tonight JKS. But not a bad idea. In long velvet dress, in deckchair, possibly a glass of bubbly.

Oooo. I have only just noticed. Fans self. Dinner do went ok, but feeling rough today, headache, earache. Not at all hang over related as I was very abstemious.

Phew a successful end of term at work

Shattered now!

Got so many presents from children too. Have 4boxes of Thorntons, 3 boxes of roses, a massive tin of celebrations, a few other choc bits,3 bottles of wine, 2 pairs fluffy socks, lots of toiletries, a scarf and glove set and a white co candle I do feel a bit sick thinking about all that chocolate though!

Dc have school tomorrow so my plan is to sort my house out a bit as it is in definite doom territory. Or i may just sit on my arse and watch telly all day!

Festive - yey for finishing work and wow at all the pressies - definitely space out those chocs or you'll be sick!

Last orchestra concert done, phew. Christmas is always a crazy time. DS2 has 1 day of school left, DH has 1 day of work left, then we can all collapse start to enjoy Christmas

Afternoon everyone. Glad to see we all survived the apocalypse, mind you that does mean the lists go on.

This morning I did my big shop. I have DD's party this weekend and once that is over I can put my feet up and relaxxxxxxx. I'm at my mums for Christmas Day so no cooking for me, yippee.

Today is all about cleaning
Tomorrow is about food prep.
