We've been down to see SIL today for her birthday, DS had a great time with his cousins.
Popped into Boots on the way back and got bed mats, maternity pads and enough of my facecream etc etc to last until the baby is a couple of months old. Now if only I can persuade DH to get those crates out of the garage we'll be in business getting my hospital bag ready!!

Just spent a very lovely hour going through baby clothes, I had forgotten how small everything was!!

Don't need to buy anything in the way of essentials so that is good. Need to look in some more boxes though, as I can't find any of the things my Mum knitted for DS

Aww Ali - it's so lovely looking through all the tiny stuff. Hopefully DH will get them down for me later.

Hi Plum! Not sure that you've missed much really - Mini's exhibition went well, Anon's DH has had his op and is fine although being a slightly annoying patient
I can't remember anything else, my brain isn't working today!

I slept dreadfully last night, so DH brought DS downstairs and left me in bed - until gone midday!!
When I came down he has done laundry, made bread, and is currently cooking pancakes for brunch

its been a working weekend for me, so I will do lists tmorrow. DH amazed me by tidying the bedroom, clearing a space in the spare room,.... putting away washing..... Yes really.
So gold star for him, especially as he is on another coures of anti bios, poor lamb. It must be the weekend of the helpful husband or something.
My next plan re exhib. is to open to the public one weekend. i still haven't downloaded or uploaded photos. will try get my head round it soon.

It's obviously a good day for DH's, mine stepped in to take over the preparation of the Sunday Dinner... and even offered to let me stay home whilst he took DC to the minis rugby tournament this morning.... but seeing as BOTH of them were playing, I really wanted to go.

And DD, yes DD, got Under 6 player of the week!!!!!! She is soooo chuffed! Her first ever two matches as well.

DH back to work tomorrow, hope his knee holds up. And back to "normal" for me.... been quite nice having him around actually, but I suspect one week is probably enough for both of us .

Right. I can smell pork roasting..... must dash!

Not going to achieve much today I don't think, still feeling very slow after sat night and I have hurt my ankle so it is bruised and swollen. It was kiling me while we were out but I just thought it was because I was wearing really high heels but yesterday I could barely walk on it. Was way way too drunk on sat, you know those girls you see weaving their way around unable to walk and you think 'what a state'? Well that was me. And was worse in a way because my mind was quite clear so I was fully aware of what an idiot I looked . Only other time I've lost control of my body to that extent was when someone spiked my drink but nobody had opportunity to do that on Saturday so it was just me being stupid and drinking too much, too quickly. Feel a little bit shit about it tbh.
