It was great when I was cooking because I had an empty dishwasher everything went in as I finished with it so it wasn't clogging up the worksurface I have also fairly much got on top of all the washing as well. I can now tackle things like soft furnishings and pillows.

I think it seems like a bigger gap because there is a whole decade between us that neither of us is in - I am still (just) in my twenties and he is forty. Does that make sense??? Am a bit scared! Don't think I've ever been on a proper date.

Hi again. I have been at work all week apart from Monday but I did find it useful to write the list while I was here all day. I'm going to set out a week's worth of tasks, not just for me but DH too (he tends to do the less pleasant ones which is awfully good of him...!)

Freak - yes go for it! DH is 8 years older than me - he is 40 :)

I did loads yesterday in the end, hoovered and dusted all of upstairs and did the bathroom. Even hoovered the mattress and DH turned it. Never hoovered a mattress before in my life I don't think, not sure what came over me.
