Yep it's a nervous wait here too. Plus poorly DS so it's not been the best week. If it's bad news I'm not sure how he'll take it

Wow excellent news and the first one! Did it update on UCAS or was it an email from Trinity.

From the College. Nerve wracking as the email just said ‘please see attachment’ so not immediately clear from the email text if was a yes or no.

DS got an offer from Trinity in the humanities, came in just after 8am

We're waiting for maths at Emmanuel. Annoyingly school has a strict no mobile policy and students can't get on to WiFi or use mobile data at all on the premises as they have some sort of faraday set up going on, so no idea when we will hear. We already have a good offer from Bath.

DD got an offer from Clare for Computer Science! Good luck everyone. She's in class so haven't spoken. Under the desk text.

Can't quite believe it, but DS has an offer from Downing for a humanities subject!

Offer here for Geography from Corpus Christi! Congrats to those who had good news...and for those who didn't get what they hoped for, it's just the beginning of another amazing journey. I said to my DC that if it didn't go their way today, they would probably have more fun somewhere else with a less intense workload...

There are pros and cons to each outcome - and it is important to remember that beyond a point, it does become a bit of a lottery.

Offer for Clare College for DS for Economics. Amazed and thrilled!

It's a no for DC1. Still waiting for an update from DC2. Both at school. Someone shared this on another thread ("Oxford Rejects") and I saved it for this moment, as I think it's really helpful for anyone who gets a no today. A current Oxbridge lecturer who once applied to do a degree at Oxbridge but who didn't get an offer. (Congratulations to all those DCs who did get offers of course!!)

Its also a no for our DC for engineering - I know they will be crestfallen having fallen in love with Cambridge. Hoping now for great offers from their other options.
