So part of Huws apparent mental health struggles was apparently feel seated low self esteem partly by failure to get into Oxford when perhaps he was expected to and he was surrounded by Oxbridge educated peers at the BBC.

Moving away from. The odious crime do you think spoke can have such a deep seated reaction to Oxbridge rejection and does it least??

I do feel for him. The trauma of Oxbridge rejection and a grief-distracted spouse must have been such an ordeal, unlike the trauma of childhood sexual abuse or the death of a parent, for example - trivial matters that should be put aside to accommodate the ego and penis of an entitled man.

It’s only been almost 3yrs since my DS was rejected, but yeah I do think they carry that. But absolutely not in the respect you’re going to want to look at illegal photos of child abuse.

My sister ran round her top performing private school on results day yelling how happy she was that she missed the grades for Oxbridge. (I can't remember which it was)

She realised she had made a huge mistake and actually wanted her second choice which was Durham.

She only applied because one of her teachers told her she wouldn't get offered a place.

Sometimes it works out for the best.

Just apparently not HE.
