My DD has an interview on Tuesday and is really nervous. We have a friend giving her a mock interview tomorrow just to give her a taste of it.

She's still yet to hear from all her other uni applications but has secured her backup course of Pharmacology at Bristol

Don't worry if your DC come out of interviews not having a clue how it has gone. My DC each had one interview like that and both got offers from those interviews.

My DS was really nervous going into his interview this week but says it wasn't as bad as he thought it would be once it got going so hopefully that will be the case for others.

Does anyone know timescale for Bristol they seem to have everyone on hold

Edinburgh quick off the mark too, DD just got an offer for there too!

Bristol tend to make a very small number of offers early in the process to candidates who have scored very highly. Most candidates go on hold and then offers and rejections are sent out in quite regular batches. Some don't go on hold and just go to offer or rejection. Try not to read too much into whether you are on hold or not etc. It doesn't seem to mean anything other than that they have looked at your scores and you are still in the game. Just a way of managing their applications. Both of mine got offers from Bristol but not for about two months after their interview. Some of their friends waited longer.

Just dropped DD into college for her Oxford interviews. She's not well at all today unfortunately - hoping adrenalin will power her through and her voice will stay the course...
