I was really surprised by how much he liked Bangor when we went to the open day and he has said he would be happy there! Good luck to your DD also 😊 Be keeping my fingers crossed!

feeling fortunate to have a busy week upcoming with interviews Sunderland Manchester and Glasgow ( fortunately online as other two in person) then her 18th at weekend

Anyone heard from Lancaster yet?

DD applied for there and 2 other med schools.

She had her interview at Sheffield already and has not yet heard from KMMS, although it's unlikely as they've sent most interview invites out now. No rejection yet though...

The waiting is horrible!

Haven’t heard of anyone getting anything from Lancaster yet @rosesinmygarden but I’d imagine by end of this week? Fingers crossed for some good news for your DD.

Hello all, we’ve still not heard from QMUL (Barts) has anyone else?

@Mumofboys2006 Nothing here yet. By this time tomorrow she’ll have done 3 interviews and still be waiting to hear from QMUL!

Yay - well done! We are still waiting. No invites, but also no rejections. Trying to stay away for TSR as it's very stress making, with people claiming each uni dd has applied to has sent out everything already.

The waiting for invites is terrible but they aren't all sent out at the same time. DS2 had 2 interviews at Cambridge this morning in person. He has another at Leicester on Friday. He is just waiting to hear back from UCL now.

Where did your DD apply to? The wait is so hard isn’t it?

@LaMereDuChat yes, TSR can be helpful but can add to the stress. also, most people on there are genuine, I am sure, but I do question some of the claims…

I feel very bad for my dd as she said she feels like she can’t enjoy Christmas this year with all this stress and uncertainty hanging over her.

Spoke too soon - first rejection is in from Cardiff. It was her aspirational choice & a big risk with her scores so not a great surprise. Waiting on KMMS (possibly unlikely now), Aston and Liverpool (who aren't even starting to send till January). On we go! Cardiff were lovely though and made her an offer on another course.

@Notcontent - awful, isn't it? Hope your dd can put it out of her mind and relax once term ends.

Congrats groundhodday2021 dd! And commiserations LaMereDuChat dd - still 3 to go though and she can only attend one in the end so fingers crossed for her.

DS2 has just received an interview for UCL in January.
