Huge congratulations @Mumofboys2006 ds! Was hoping you’d have some good news for us soon! It is such a relief to have one and really should help with the motivation and focus! 🎉🎉

There have been a flurry of offers this week and my DD now has a full set!

She'd interviewed for Glasgow and Newcastle at the beginning of December and it feels like a long time ago... I think she'd given up on Glasgow as others had offers from there a while back. She's going to put that as her second choice when she confirms her choices as she can imagine herself there and the offer is slightly lower than her first choice (Oxford).

She had taken some risks with her applications (Oxford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle) so she's pleased now that it paid off and she can choose.

We now have everyone at our school with at least one offer. My own DD is on a run of 13 hour shifts. It's a tough old job.

having the right support and information is so critical. My dd’s sixth form has been great (as they have lots of students applying for med) but even so we still did lots of research at home. Literally hours making lists, etc.

😊 school do pay me to do it. But I come on here because I know not every school has support. We can all thank my DD who embarked on this process 7 years ago. She did all the research and I learned from her.

The NHS is a tough place to work right now. But medicine is a global career !

Place marking. Well done to all the kids for their offers so far. My DS is still waiting to hear from Bristol and Sheffield. He's very relaxed about it which makes me super proud. He had three interviews and Leeds was absolutely his favourite but got rejected after interview even though he has such good people skills and felt it went well. Good luck to everyone with your distraction methods 😂
