I can see there’s the Oxbridge one but dd isn’t an early entry applicant.

anyway she’s finally submitted her UCAS I know school have added the reference so imagine it’ll be off in a day or so 🤞🏻

Shes applying for sociology and has applied to:
Durham
York
Lancaster
Sheffield
Birmingham

her predicted grades comfortably exceed all the standard offers so I hope she gets some offers (and please please please let Durham offer!!).

I know they are quite late to respond but he applied early so it feels like ages, he has had his other offers for months.

Oh sorry I thought you meant the St Andrews offer sheet. There might not be one for normal universities, only those that are notoriously late to offer

There’s a Bath one on tsr and I don’t think they’re notoriously late. I’ve just had a peek now and there’s been one offer for DDs course, yesterday. Good to know they’ve started to go through the pile.
@mrsconradfisher Lboro for sports science is HIGHLY competitive so I think no news is good news! DD has also applied there and heard within a week but it’s not sport science so not at all comparative. They’ll have a ridiculous number of applications to go through and taking their time isn’t a bad thing. Hold on in there! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Thank you. He actually emailed admissions a couple of weeks ago (I’m impressed with that tbh!) and they sent a lovely email saying basically saying the same thing and they are reading every single PS.
He is predicted 3 A’s (on his UCAS but now gone up) and they want 2 A’s and an A Star so it’s slightly aspirational hence his concern. I think he’ll get offered the other course which is Sports Science, PE and Coaching which is AAB but he would rather do pure sports science. I’ve everything crossed, it’s his 18th on Sunday so an offer would be a perfect present.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to those spreadsheets on TSR tbh - they only tend to contain a very small number of offers - the ones I've looked at have only between 100 and 200 entries.

Whilst I know the places my DS has applied to are being slow to reply, surely they're not that slow 😂

Good evening, DD received an offer from St Andrews today. She is relieved especially after the no success with Oxford.She is predicted 5A*. She already holds an offer from Bristol and waiting on Kings and Durham. This is for E&M

The Liverpool offer is for Economics. Hope your DD hears soon for Geography.

It really is impossible to know. We are waiting on st andrews with A star A star A but it’s for their most competitive course and ds is not contextual so not particularly hopeful

Congratulations to all the offers coming in and to those waiting hope it’s not too much longer. Dd was fortunate to get 4 offers very quickly and then Durham in January. She is sure she will firm Durham and insure York but wants till wait till after the Durham offer holders day in March just to be sure (although if she doesn’t go with these two we’re pretty much back to square one 😂 ).

My dd got an offer from Exeter today for psychology, 3 x A's.
She is still waiting to hear from Bath re the psychology placement course.

I think a few are waiting on Bath. They told DD it’d be March/April & hopefully 28th April at latest as they have two reviewers. She’s not psychology but it’s probs similar for a number of their courses. Maybe no news is good news.

My DS is waiting for Bath as well, for Computer Science. He knows about four others also waiting for different subjects

I think a reason ds may have got an early offer is that he ticked the defer box on ucas form as planning to earn money next year.

DD has had final decisions from her remaining two unis this week - a rejection from Warwick and an offer from Exeter (for PPE).
She is happy with all four of her offers, and knows it's a competitive course and that offers were not a given.
Just got to achieve the grades now!

Blametheparents good to have the certainty and well done to your DD on the four offers.
