Hi a new thread with DC applying to Vet Med next year or for anyone with DC already studying who could pass on some words of wisdom!

My DD is looking to apply to Cambridge, Surrey, Nottingham and Bristol.
She has a fair amount of work experience arranged already and we will do the open day circuit next year.

I am presuming dd will here back from Liverpool within the next 2 weeks.

Great news ! Surrey getting them out fast for some people this year. Think Liverpool will be next week for everyone and RVC sometime in January (that's what it says on website). DD has Notts and RVC start of next week so hoping rail strike not too bad.

Good luck to everyone it is beyond stressful - other kids applied for courses that didn’t interview or have any of this hoop jumping
Student room seem to think Liverpool offers /rejections were 20th last year. DD waiting to hear - it is local so i am keeping my fingers crossed as Surrey is a long long way

handmedownqueen Liverpool isn't far from us too. Leahurst is only 10 minutes away and it's dd favourite, so really hope she gets an offer.
My ds went to Surrey, finished last summer, it is a bit of a trek but lovely campus.

Opposite for us. Liverpool is a long old trek but it's a fab Uni. DD applied to do medicine there so have been a lot over last few years and I love the city. But Bristol is closer so not sure what will happen if she is lucky enough to get an offer. Good luck to all up coming interviews and for those waiting to hear back. This time next week she will be all done and just waiting.

I wish we was going to be all done by next week.
Dd has Nottingham interview in January and Edinburgh in February, so we are in it for the long hall.
They are all good uni's, and all they need is 1 offer 😊

Always the mantra. Just one offer ! But having the interviews makes doing those horrid forms worthwhile. DD said they took her ages.

I’ve been out at dd’s last ever carol service (she’s our youngest) which has been emotional. Lovely to come back to good news on this thread - congratulations handmedownqueen. Good luck tomorrow Bati. It’s all quiet here until Nottingham next Monday. DD wasn’t too keen on Liverpool at the open day but after her interview she liked it a lot more. Good luck for all the remaining interviews 😊

Well done your dd on the Liverpool offer and good luck for nottinghams interview.

Dd is in a lesson at the moment so have no idea of her outcome for Liverpool - we wasn't expecting to here from Liverpool till later on in the week, so don't think she will even know to look. Roll on her break time when I can message her x

Liverpool offer - think they are sending them all out sharp this am. According to tSR some people are getting emails making offers for 2021 too

Fantastic news on all the Liverpool offers, what a great way to start the week. My husband is at Nottingham with DD and has completely fallen for it! I think he wants to apply too. It all seems very well organised and friendly.

My DD is just so overwhelmed to have two offers she can’t think straight at present. Can’t believe it and so proud of her ( and me ! It’s a big job for parents helping them with the application process)

Liverpool offer. She had RVC interview this morning so ignored email til home. Nottingham tomorrow. She is a bit tired !
