Hi a new thread with DC applying to Vet Med next year or for anyone with DC already studying who could pass on some words of wisdom!

My DD is looking to apply to Cambridge, Surrey, Nottingham and Bristol.
She has a fair amount of work experience arranged already and we will do the open day circuit next year.

That’s good news Bati. All quiet here, it’s even harder waiting now that a few offers are trickling in!

No news for us from Notts or Bristol seen that interviews/offers are coming out.

Maybe we will here something positive today from memory with DS - Friday seems to be a lively day with unis!

The Notts and RVC ones on TSR are European students (DD checked !). But reckon they'll be soon. DD says I can now say she has an offer from Bristol - I was told off for posting before as she hadn't heard of any others yet. It was v lovely to receive. Fingers crossed for the next few weeks to our lovely kids.

Congratulations to your daughter mumsneedwine, that is amazing news! I am trying to stay away from the student room and this forum as I don’t think my nerves can stand it. It is definitely worse than DD1’s Cambridge application because at least then everyone heard on the same day!

Thanks all. She really is a v lucky young lady. It's so stressful waiting to hear anything and tsr doesn't help as people post half information. Last night one said got an RVC interview for D100 but turns out was for 4 year course. V good idea to stay well clear !! I hope everyone has a lovely weekend and we all hear some good news next week.

Hi All - just thought I would check in - Surrey iv on 21st - hoping to hear something next week but DD pretty downbeat. It was a long trip for us. Liverpool iv this week. Yet to hear from Bristol or HK. How’s everyone else’s kids bearing up ?

My DD has received a Nottingham interview today but not heard anything from Bristol as yet either. I think a few offers have gone out for Bristol but she hasn't got one atm.

Nottingham interview here too. Trying to juggle so one if can go with her. Just RVC to heat from 😳

Thank you both, it’s a huge relief as you know! No celebrating tonight as it’s a 6.00 am start tomorrow for the trip to Liverpool. The rollercoaster continues...
