DS1 off to Uni and I'm struggling

That's it really. He's my first born and it's just hit me that he's really going. He's got his A levels and secured his place. He's so excited and I'm trying not to show it but I'm feeling devastated.
Someone give me a slap and tell me I'm a silly cow!!!

I'm getting more used to it now. This weekend was odd with just DS2 in the house and I still can't get used to not cooking for him!!
He has kept in touch - mostly texting daft questions and I've spoken to him a few times. He has amazed me the way he is taking it all in his stride and getting on with everything so well. He is making friends despite being painfully shy and quiet and he's successfully done his first load of washing!!
I think he's quite pleased now that Freshers week is over and normal uni life can begin.
How is everyone else?
