Today's little genius, care of the Daily Mail

OP posts:

Seems a pretty sane article to me. I think that she is a very poor role model (not that she has set herself up to be one, has she?), and I bet most girls who aspire to be models have no idea how much the images they see are doctored.

motherinferior · 22/06/2007 21:32

Yes, but it's by Liz Jones. Who is really out to lunch.

pointydog · 22/06/2007 21:35

and the expert's knee solution was painful surgery or put on some weight to flesh out knee cap.

lol. As if Kate Moss's is going to risk her career by porking up to stop her knees being so prominent

bookwormmum · 22/06/2007 21:35

Ok so what happens to all these early childhood geniuses? Thinking about that girl Ruth who went to Cambridge aged 12 or so? Old farts may remmeber her from the 1980s. Where is she now?

FWIW I think Mozart died quite young so that's a bad omen for a start .

Let this little girl play for now. When she's got plenty of time for academia later.

pointydog · 22/06/2007 21:36

is Liz Jones that old journo with the too-long hair?

francagoestohollywood · 22/06/2007 21:36
Grin
bookwormmum · 22/06/2007 21:36

I thought I'd wandered onto the wrong thread then. This is a serious thread - leave Kate Moss out of it .

pointydog · 22/06/2007 21:37

who in their right mind would get their 2 year old mensa'd

pointydog · 22/06/2007 21:38

(see how easily I flit between serious and dross, booky. That was just for you)

francagoestohollywood · 22/06/2007 21:38

I actually have really prominent kneecaps (or patella, patellae actually) and very proud

Snaf · 22/06/2007 21:40

Yes, pointy, and she is mad as a bo of frogs.

Talking of which, did anyone read that La Burchill is giving up journalism to study theology? It was in the Independent, so it Must Be True.

UnquietDad · 22/06/2007 21:40

Ruth Lawrence - happy ending!

James Harries, on the other hand - blimey!

motherinferior · 22/06/2007 21:40

And the amputated breasts. She wrote about them in the Guardian/Obs the other day.

That's Liz Jones, not Ruth Wossname. Whom I used to see when I was at Oxford, trailing behind her dad on their tandem while the rest of us were loafing around drinking and smoking dope and agitating leftily and generally having rather more of a whale of a time than she seemed to be.

Snaf · 22/06/2007 21:40

A bo of frogs? Que? Box, obviously.

motherinferior · 22/06/2007 21:41

A bo of fro?

UnquietDad · 22/06/2007 21:41

pointy - Liz Jones is the odd journo with the dickhead husband called Nirpal Singh something, who is a total fuckign twatface journo who writes about how the world revolves around him and what a big man he is.

Snaf · 22/06/2007 21:41

Oh GOD, yes! The breasts!

Seriously, my eyeballs nearly fell out when I read that. Surely it's not actually true?

motherinferior · 22/06/2007 21:43

Liz's norks

francagoestohollywood · 22/06/2007 21:44

I missed the breast! Was it on sunday?

bookwormmum · 22/06/2007 21:44

Well this little girl only has 8 years to beat Ruth's record then .

As long as she's happy but I still thought it wasn't much of an adolesecence for her.

James Harries or whatever his name is now, is not a happy example. Poor lad or should I say lass. Fancy failing the psych test for BB .

UnquietDad · 22/06/2007 21:46

Just HOW fucked-up do you have to be to be TOO loopy for BB???

motherinferior · 22/06/2007 21:47

Er, well, what about the nork-amputation then? And I speak as someone who used not to be hog-whimpering wild about her hooters.

morningpaper · 22/06/2007 21:48

GOODNESS ME

She needs a lot of therapy

Poor woman

Why can't she say "Yeah well my arse is quite big" like everyone else?

francagoestohollywood · 22/06/2007 21:48

blimey

bookwormmum · 22/06/2007 21:52

Ok I've just read it and now I am confirmed in my opinion that LJ has had some issoos having her boobs taken off. IMHO of course.
