Bitter, I had a tooth extracted last year and before that a failed filling, loads of injections and no, it is nothing compared to childbirth and yes, they numb you first.

Lizzy, i think it is easy to appear brighter then actually are when mummy has had to fill 14-18hour days before you started school and with sleep meds ) plus it helps having grown up with scientists. art and music are not things he is great at... patience is another weak area. Bet your kids are more rounded and not being brided by their teacher for improvements in behaviour

bitter - if they are only little fillings, would you consider not being numbed - I have had one or two small ones done without the numbing stuff and I preferred that tbh - as with the numbing stuff it takes a while after for it to wear off!

Chasing my tail again . Yesterday when i picked DD1 up from preschool I found that we had been specially selected for Prince, the preschool teddybear, to come for a mini-break. So today has been spent taking pictures of said bear doing lots of activities with DD1, printing them out, sticking them in his 'diary' and writing a story. FFS, like i don't have enough to be doing . Was i wrong to feel like taking rude/inappropriate pics of Prince (like his head stuck down the loo) to see if anyone notices. Oops
