portia - i was ok, i got called to her room but i sent my identical twin so i avoided the bollocking.

jet - i can understand that, i dont really leave the house much. when im at work i have to but the more i stay in the more i get kind of 'trapped' here. i only really like going out with dp for some reason, i dont go out in the week unless my parents come or my friend takes me to another friends. thing is i like it i think, staying in i mean, but it is worrying how now when i think of going out on my own i feel a little nervous. think i'll go to post office tomorrow and force myself to get out.

DeFluffy · 07/07/2010 21:26

bitter - fuck

my post didnt come out right up there ^^ id laid them all out using spacing so that they were all where i thought they should be

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 07/07/2010 21:28

Double, not morbid at all.

jetcat · 07/07/2010 21:28

I am lucky i have junior fluffs, as without her, i dont think i would get out at all. Means i can go out as 'mum' and not 'jet' - if that makes sense. Even with mini its a struggle, as she is a typical toddler (junior wasnt) into everything, and i normally have to go chasing after her - which completly stresses me out

But, like you - i end up forcing myself to go out. Hence the nursery dilemma - do i force myself into her staying where she is and me having to go back and forth. But, after some lovely advice from you lot, i had DEM's words ringing in my ears - if i cant even manage that, i have no chance of going to proper uni So, i will try - but it does take its toll. Hence the pa.

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/07/2010 21:33

Sorry to barge in your history discussions but i forgot to say I received a cheque today for the car

SAF - same as you, history at school, just so dull

Jet - you are fab and you WILL get there

wastingaway · 07/07/2010 21:34

Fluff, I was just like that when DS was that age, but I've found it hard to get back to seeing people even now.

I think I've realised I was never actually that good at people before, but the easy opportunities aren't available to me anymore.

Jet, DS being a normal toddler is the most stressful thing! I get so hot and flustered.
I never know why people are looking at me funny.
Are they judging me for being enormous or for my crappy parenting?

DreamsInBinary · 07/07/2010 21:36

Hello all

Double - "everybody needs a witness" - that has had me really really thinking for a while now. So thought-provoking. I think the older you get, the fewer mind-blowing things you encounter.

But those four word...BAM!

I dropped history as soon as I could, and regret it a bit now. Loved science, languages and English, though, so no room for humanities.

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/07/2010 21:38

. It is very powerful. You are right. Letters are lovely Double

Trill - I work in a large, immoral solicitors, and long hours are simply the norm. No overtime, no time in lieu, but a big bonus for making your chargeable hours. As far as I can tell, you choose a big salary or free evenings until you have sufficient experience.

What is it you do?

I visited Auschwitz when we went travelling after university. I was fine whilst there, but had awful nightmares nightly for months and months afterwards.
