sorry Jaq - i missed the bit about you starting on the tablets - are those the same ones as mine?

TotalChaos · 05/07/2010 20:14

hello, hot tired and full of burger from school cookery class (cooked with fry lite spray) so maybe they were healthy

nice to see you back jaq and jet, glad you are sorted with the uti jet. good luck with starting again on the healthy/weight loss journey jaq.

jetcat · 05/07/2010 20:14

i think at this point bella - she is up to minus £15 pocket money Trouble is, she doesnt go anywhere to spend pocket money so doesnt miss it!!

I cant take her laptop off her (needs it for homework) although i have told her i am constantly checking her browsing history, to make sure no facebooking etc - she is naive enough to believe me I just hate the fact that the only time we ever communicate now is through shouting - thats not true, but it feels like it.

I try to praise her for the few and far between good things, but then she instantly goes behind my back again. I got fed up at the weekend and emailed her grandma (my ex foster mum) saying i dont remember being this bad. She emailed back,"have you had to go wandering the streets in the middle of the night yet to find her"

Jaquelinehyde · 05/07/2010 20:14

Yes the Xenical, just begun them today so we shall see how I go.

VinnyTheTit · 05/07/2010 20:16

Hello jaq! its lovely to see you back

i have eaten for england today, hangover stomach will be good tomorrow but right now i need another piece of cheese on toast mmmm

bellavita · 05/07/2010 20:17

Oh dear jet

Jaq, it wasn't a rambly text but a very nice one

jetcat · 05/07/2010 20:17

good luck, am sure you will be fine. Try and start off with a little gentle walking as well (i know thats difficult though) - as coming at it from both angles really helps

Jaquelinehyde · 05/07/2010 20:18

Oh and I have just had my first slip up, all three kids in bed, dp in the bath, I wander to the kitchen for some water and ending up stuffing a fox's classic nar down my thoat and hiding the wrapper at the bottom of the bin

Seriously who am I hiding it from

Unbelievably that is my first time alone in the kitchen today, and this is exactly why I have been avoiding it.

Gggrrrrr onwards with the next hour...I now know they are there and I can feel them calling me so this will be a huge success if I can get through.

bellavita · 05/07/2010 20:19

Hey Vinny . I think you are allowed another day of excess eating after yesterdays festivities. But tomorrow you need to start thinking about the mother of the groom outfits!!

bellavita · 05/07/2010 20:21

Jaq - I hide wrappers in the bin too . Never mind, it has been eaten now. Just don't have another one.

VinnyTheTit · 05/07/2010 20:21

oh Bella thats makes me feel OLD

step away from the biscuits Jaq

Alicetheinvisible · 05/07/2010 20:22

Jaq - hello! Please stay, you know we are all lovely and supportive well, apart from that Shiney one, she is always with her boyfriend these days

Jet - i completely understand the list, i pretty much need the same Could you do a revised list together, stating times of things eg 4.30 - 5.15 homework, 5.15 - 5.30 telly? Would that help her? and set an alarm?

This baby is pulling some strange shapes today, think it is trying to turn round but not having much luck.

Does anyone remember my friend who kept letting me down? I had a missed call from her today and a text telling me she has loads of gossip. Waiting for a phonecall from her. Wonder what she has been doing now?

jetcat · 05/07/2010 20:23

Oh we can have so much fun with Vinny as a mil

Jaq - the only way i found how to get through it was not to buy them in the first place, or if it was something the girls wanted, to give them to junior to hide in her room. I had zero willpower, am a little better now, but still not perfect.

My experience with the xenical - i had mid morning snacks, mid afternoon snack and supper of something no more than 7g fat. That way, if i got the munchies for a chocolate biscuit, i knew i could have it with no side effects

VinnyTheTit · 05/07/2010 20:25

i will make a fantastic mil, as long as she does as she is told

TrillianAstra · 05/07/2010 20:26

Jaq step away from the biscuits. They are not you friends. Good luck on the tablets.

Do let us in on the gossip if it's good Alice

Alicetheinvisible · 05/07/2010 20:27

Of course Trills!

Hey, Jaq good to have you back.

Alice, I can't believe you have so little time left! Seems like only yesterday you found out it was a boy!

TrillianAstra · 05/07/2010 20:32

But Vinny when they have babies will you let her come on MN? I bet she'd be suprised to meet 'Vinny' rather than RL you

Jaquelinehyde · 05/07/2010 20:35

I have stepped away from them and I am here, am also on fb if you wondered where I had vanished to so not commando crawling to the kitchen in camoflage paint

Jet I didn't even know they were there dp must have bought them without me realising, there is also a family size bag of Revels but I'm trying not to think about them!

I have a Callipo in the freezer that I'm saving for about 9.30, it's my danger time!

You do realise I am going to be a terrible bore for the next few weeks, living hour by hour with you whilst avoiding eating

Alicetheinvisible · 05/07/2010 20:35

She will never suspect though

VinnyTheTit · 05/07/2010 20:35

she will never know about MN from me, and you lot are sworn to secrecy ok

and they are not having babies

Alicetheinvisible · 05/07/2010 20:37

Bitter - it is very scary indeed. I am trying to focus on washing baby stuff, decorating, getting the house ready etc, so i don't actually have to think of the realities of having a newborn and a toddler to deal with!

TrillianAstra · 05/07/2010 20:37

They are, they're having babies very very soon...

What a manie you are, not letting her have MN. Or is she more of a netmums girl? You kn, sweet and nice and bad at spelling and too delicate for AIBU?

VinnyTheTit · 05/07/2010 20:41

no she is defo a MN type, fiesty, actually thinking about it, i am more of a netmums type, i may have to leave
