I usually get up with DS (he has a gate on his room so he rattles it when he wakes up) if DD wakes up first she lets DS out & they usually play in her room. I'm looking forward to getting my own back when they're teenagers

Lizzylou · 05/07/2010 09:57

Oh Goodness yes Norma, when they are stroppy teens, I will be banging drums at 6am
Though I may just have a lie in myself.

Wasting, if it was just DS1 then he'd be fine to go downstairs, together, ummm, not just yet!

bellavita · 05/07/2010 10:12

Oooh Norma, they are to die for

I am going to peruse that website when I have a bit more time.

NormaSknockers · 05/07/2010 10:12

I plan on going into them at 5am & whining Can I breakfast now. Can I have a banana. I need a wee. I want to wear my red top today. Can I have cakes for lunch. I want my breakfast. DD. DD. DD. DD. Are you getting up now & son & son

NormaSknockers · 05/07/2010 10:13

Gah! My space bar stuck, so on not son!

Bella I have become a little addicted to PC things but they are rather lovely & very good quality

wastingaway · 05/07/2010 10:17

Ah yes Lizzy, dsis was still in her cot at that point, and then when she was in a bed we'd moved to a flat.

Afternoon, tis me, Mouseface.

Ah...... what a lovley video! Vinny, you have a wonderful young man there and his bride to be is so pretty!! What a lovely couple they make.... Hope you feel better soon.

Alice - YAY!!!!! 35 weeks today. Please ignore any horrid threads.....(says she!)

Wasted - you go girl, how many steps now??

Lizzy - I heart Turkish food, I could live off shish kebabs and rice.

Norma - I could murder poached eggs on toast..... may have to have that for lunch now I've seen 'eggs'

Well, it's sports day at DD's school. Did she remember my green t-shirt? No. Have we just had to drop it off for her to prevent a meltdown? Yes.

DS passed his hearing test this morning with flying colours - YAY - and I got free flowers from M&S. MrMouse bought me some Peonies and only 2 have opened. The rest are dead and tight shut so I asked if they could speak to head office or their supplier and as way of an apology - here, have a free bunch!!

So all in all, a good start to the week. Long may it continue

Lunch, I'm starved........ low fat ham salad and snack a jacks. Plus more water. I shall wee myself thin!! Sorry - TMI?

wastingaway · 05/07/2010 12:51

Quiet round here for a working day.

Great news for DS Mouse! And free flowers is awesome.

Hey Double, how was the trip?

Having walked to Morrisons and christened the new shopping trolley, I have racked up 5152 steps.

Some random bits of salad and cheese for lunch, will keep track for the Lord though.

afternoon all,

a belated happy birthday to Norma...and an advance apology for being a bit crap and not catching up. I am in panic mode (nothing bad - just work and up and coming holiday) and need to get stuff sorted - so more than 10 mins on MN eats into time I should be doing things!

Hope everyone is happy and well and I hope to catch up soon.

I am lurking... love to you all xx

TrillianAstra · 05/07/2010 14:51

I am working. But would much rather loaf about and chat to you all. I just need a source of funding.

Yay for DS's hearing test Mouse. How do they test hearing on babies? Make interesting noises and see if they look round?

Alicetheinvisible · 05/07/2010 15:04

Afternoon

I have been trying to nap but DD insists on playing her keyboard on loud, then DH had a delivery so no chance.

I think hearing tests in babies is just seeing if they respond to noises. Lots of places do it within hours of birth. Well done babymouse

How is work today Trills?

I have been washing baby stuff

Mouseface · 05/07/2010 15:08

Off to take DS for 2nd MMR at last.

Shame as he's in a really happy mood today.

Afternoon all

Trills they put mini headphones in their ears & play noise/sounds through it & the machine records the echo (I think) & that's how they check in the first stages anyway.

Well done on your steps wasting!

Gee, thanks

I see that Fred is still going strong
