Healthy thread focussing on cock and cake finding the method that suits you whilst enjoying some cheery banter and googling obscene veg!

I am Mitts... hello xx

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 29/06/2010 11:39

I am clearly not as cool and trendy as double was, as I think poo stories are kind of funny anyway

TrillianAstra · 29/06/2010 11:42

Have nibbled on some dried fruit (some of which I suspect is massively laced with sugar) and some almonds. Gazpacho is in a flask in the fridge for lunch.

Trying to drink lots of water. Alice have you been dinrking enough? Being sick is very dehydrating.

Mouseface · 29/06/2010 11:47

Alice -

I'm howling at that and DS is laughing because I'm laughing....

So sorry but

More happy tears!!!!

Hilarious.

So glad your bathroom is finished too.

LizzyLOU · 29/06/2010 11:47

Ugh at pooing toddlers when you are pg, oh Alice, I do remember chucking myself a fair few times Not nice.

Mouse, I do agree with everyone else, you have the wonderful family life that you deserve now, you are a very lovely, open and warm person.

Dukan pancake is cooking so I can shred later, work is going sloooowly.

NormaSknockers · 29/06/2010 11:48

Sorry meant to say well done for not being sick on the small person

I'm 8 years old at heart as anything to do with poo etc makes me giggle, as does the chap on DOI whose surname is widdle

DidEinsteinsMum · 29/06/2010 11:50

Espeically as mitts not about to nag us into drinking water.

I am still lost in the middle of the lego pile of dispair. But needed to find the contents list for 2 of 3 kits which have lost their instructions. I love lego site. Replacement instruction free at click of button

Mouse - it takes a while but it will get better. bad memories are like grieving you have to go through all of the emotions to get to the healing. hang in there.

right kit no 8....

Mouseface · 29/06/2010 11:53

Thanks Lizzy and DEM.

Weird how 'grief' has no time line IYSWIM?

NormaSknockers · 29/06/2010 11:56

I don't envy you DEM, thankfully we've not hit the lego stage yet!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 29/06/2010 11:58

Washing out, living room blitzed, pictures rehung, polishing done, kitchen sorted, shredding done.

Just need to wash up and I'm almost there.

Mouse, it took me a loooong time and many fuck ups along the way to get over some stuff from my past.

And look at me now! (actually scratch that last bit, I don't want to scare you )

Even though I consider myself totally adjusted and 'over' it I still have a couple of hangovers from that time (the prude thing and the cleaning thing come to mind).

Give yourself time chicken and don't give yourself a hard time.

DidEinsteinsMum · 29/06/2010 12:08

my laminator is my friend right now. scanned the checklist pages of the instructions. printed. laminated. just corssing off with white board pen. Top tip of day!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 29/06/2010 12:15

That could be your superhero name DEM.

"Oh no! These instructions are perilously close to a hot cup of tea!"

"Did someone call..The Laminator?

Mouseface · 29/06/2010 12:28

Thanks Bitter xx

I have just been making lunch, nap for me is a no-go as the angle grinder is back, hey......

Wait a cotton darn pickin' minute....

That could be my Superhero name, The Anglegrinder..........

Anywho, I was making lunch and the new song from Lee Ryan came on the wireless. Has anyone heard it? It's called 'I Am What I Am'.

It's me. That's me I mean....."I am what I am and you can't change me, I am what I am don't re-arrange me"....I think.

What brilliant words

Will try to find it and link it in a mo.

Back to making lunch.

"First-time mothers who won't put their babies down are always called over-anxious, but it's not because we're anxious, it's because they're cute and we don't want to, claro? To us, that is like going all the way to a petting zoo in Devon, waiting nine months to get your hands on the cutest piglet in the south-west of England, and then someone going, "Are you never going to put that piglet down?" Nope. No, matey, I'm not."

Cute. I'm randomly reading the Guardian now that the Times is behind a bastarding pay wall
