I am going to have a bath soon and get my jammy's on.

I have just thoroughly cleaned the inside of DH's car - it was disgusting . I hate dirty cars, especially when I have to ride in them as a passenger. I dont' know why he can't give it a hoover every week like I do mine - doesn't take a mo.

So tomorrow night I have DS1 sleeping out (with boys and girls ) and DS2 has a friend sleeping. DS1 will be as horrible as hell when he comes home on Wed - from lack of sleep.

DreamsInBinary · 31/05/2010 18:02

A mixed sleepover

bellavita · 31/05/2010 18:05

I know DIB!!

They are going to be out in the garden too in a tent..... about 8 of them and he will be 13 in fourteen days time.....

DreamsInBinary · 31/05/2010 18:11

Blimey. BLIMEY!!!

I suppose it very much depends on the group of children. When I turned 13 I was a very different creature to when I turned 14.

DreamsInBinary · 31/05/2010 18:12

And the chances are that the boys will tell rude jokes and fart all evening, and the girls will all troup back into the house at midnight citing unerasonable behaviour

NormaSknockers · 31/05/2010 18:20

Evening all,

Gosh amost new thread time! I have a house full of poorly people & a belly full of too much food - er ooppss!

Hey Norma

DreamsInBinary · 31/05/2010 18:24

I went to a girls' school, and so perhaps am not the best judge

Lizzylou · 31/05/2010 18:25

I am exhausted, have done the involved Mother of boys tryin to wear em out thang all day.

Now I just want a glass of wine and my bed.

DS1 still not there with his bike, but they did write a song and put on a v funny performance by their originally entitled group "Boys Aloud".

That was why I wanted to be a Mother, far better than pushing bloody trains around all the time.

jetcat · 31/05/2010 18:25

oooh Dib, when i was 13, i was living in a mixed childrens home - the amount of creeping into each others' room was unbelievable Not me of course

sorry bella, probably not what you want to hear

NormaSknockers · 31/05/2010 18:25

Sounds interesting Bella!

bellavita · 31/05/2010 18:31

Oh gawd...

I will get DH to have a word with him tonight (he won't see him tomorrow before he goes)

Last night when we were sat in the bar at the hotel, DH showed me a post of DS1's on facebook asking for some msn addies - there must have been 6 very quick replies from the girls... one with kisses and a love heart >

I went to mixed sleepovers. Nothing happened. We watched videos, ate a lof crisps and sweets, and all stayed in our own sleeping bags.

oh Bella!! How exciting for DS. I went to a summer camp for a week (when I was about that age)...and there was a lot of 'spin the bottle' but that was about it.

bellavita · 31/05/2010 18:52

Last time he went to a sleep over they watched a film called Bigalo Gigalo or something like that... he recalled the tale of the film to my mum - she was and so was I

Am about to have a bowl full of porridge. I amm not doing any cooking at all for anyone tonight. We have bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, bread, soup so they can all help themselves. DS1 is not impressed but he is old enough just this once to make something.

wastingaway · 31/05/2010 19:06

Hey all, quick post before bedtime.

It's definitely tantrum weather, DS flipped out shortly after waking up from his nap this afternoon and it took me an age to settle him down. DH has not been as useful as I'd been hoping he'd be. So I still haven't got all the cleaning/sorting etc. that I wanted done.
I don't think he understands that I don't get a day off.

Leptons, sorry about your holiday.

Mittz, how was the exhibition while it lasted?

Bella. No mixed sleepovers for wasting til I was 18.

Lizzy, loving the little performance.

Mouse, glad you had fun at the spa.

see you later!

LL - AC on The One Show.

DreamsInBinary · 31/05/2010 19:16

I have only seen The One Show a couple of times, but I'm sure thingy's face didn't look like that on Strictly Come Dancing. Is it bad make-up or surgery, do you think?

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 31/05/2010 19:26

is it bedtime yet?
