Evening!

Jet, he's such a self-centred arsewipe. You are being very reasonable.
Glad you had a nice day. Sounds like a great day in fact.

Mitta, yay for exhibition! And yay for a lovely day!

Hope you have a fun evening Iggi.

Trills, I really enjoyed 26. And 27 in fact. Downhill from there though.

TC, have a fab time in Wales and don't use up all the nice weather, we're off to Wales next week.

Fun day with ILs as per Sunday usual.

Going to watch Night At The Museum now and do some knitting. Bye!

Lizzylou · 30/05/2010 21:03

I think I posted first though, Alice.

But if you chuck a hormonal pg strop I'll give it to you

That all sounds lovely food, Alice.

Jet, that is unfair, if he wants to take the girls to a party on the day he doesn't have them, then that is his look out.
Gimp.

You stand your ground me lovely. YOu are buing some lovely clothes! Bet you look amazing.

Alicetheinvisible · 30/05/2010 21:07

What are you knitting Wasting?

I am watching Tarrentino's Hero again... it is breathtakingly beautiful.

Jet..hmm.. will have a shoe think. Put your foot down with ex and exert some boundaries... you are not being unreasonable.

Gorgeous monsoon top Jet, and the sandals in silver are lovely, why not get those. With silver accessories/jewelry they would go with jeans/dress/top.....

Some pretty hoop earrings and silver bracelets....

TrillianAstra · 30/05/2010 21:10

Yes stand your ground Jet.

Curry made with madras curry paste for dinner, yum. Think I am probably not ill anymore. (fingers crossed)

Well done on the dress picking Alice and Lizzy. My dress for weddings was picked by Hells I belive

jetcat · 30/05/2010 21:12

Alice AND lizzy I actually took my list with me, and next to the dress, i had wrote "alice and lizzy's dress" So i figure it must have been worth a look if you both liked it!

Alicetheinvisible · 30/05/2010 21:19

Well, obviously Lizzy and i have amazing taste

Jet - agree with everyone. You tell him. You are coming across much more confident, use this to your advantage

jetcat · 30/05/2010 21:21

do you think so mittz?

trills, you tea sounds lovely, and i think that surely you must be better now, you sound a lot brighter

wastingaway · 30/05/2010 21:22

Mittz, it's this in bright red.

Trills, if you can manage the curry, I'm sure the margaritas would be fine now.

jetcat · 30/05/2010 22:07

wow wasting - you are so clever When mini was first born, i longed for a little arron cable knit cardi for her, i even attempted one myself - but it wasnt to be cos i am crap at knitting

YanknCock · 30/05/2010 22:12

helllloooooo!

Just popping in to confirm Jet is absolutely lovely and she looks great in skinny jeans (though I had to run get her a smaller size 'cause she keeps picking stuff bigger than she needs!)

Jet, you do indeed look good in turqouise, and Alice and Lizzy did a fab job picking out that dress, it was lovely. Good luck with the undergarment/jewelry shopping!

Jet will also tell you that shopping with me involves me completely invading your personal space (which she coped with admirably).

Myself, I got a pair of dark jeans in a 20 which is a size smaller than the last pair I got. I still need a top, might go back and get this. It was the first thing I tried on and I wasn't sure about it, but the more I think of it the more I like it (with a black shrug). Since you all gave Jet such wonderful suggestions, anyone want to help me? I am not allowed to wear black because that is all I ever wear. Dark hair, pale-ish skin, need about a size 20-22 on top and prefer something that hides my belly!

Thanks, I'm hoping it turns out well. Jet, I haven't tried cable-knitting, yet. I do try and challenge myself with each new pattern though.

jetcat · 30/05/2010 22:20

yank, it did really look lovely - if you do decide to get it, let me know and i will give you my codes

hellsbelles · 30/05/2010 22:56

lovely lovely dresses Trills and Jet and Yank that top is very pretty...though Trills can't you treat us to the Coast one (that I found - lest anyone forgets ).

I meanwhile will be wearing a....sackcloth. DH has gone oddly prudish and keeps saying 'no you can't wear that if you are going out without me' about anything that isn't ankle length and baggy . I really don't know what an earth to wear.

DreamsInBinary · 30/05/2010 23:01

That sounds a little out of character, Hells? I think you have said before that he actively encourages you to be stylish?

Any ideas where I can get a silky top, blazer and fuck-off heels from?

hellsbelles · 30/05/2010 23:07

DIB - it really is...I think I shall be nicking ideas off your thread .

The plum top was lovely (though I later noticed it would be difficult to wear a bra with...not sure if that is a requirement for you...for me to go braless would be a very horrific experience for all involved)!

YanknCock · 30/05/2010 23:08

hells, how odd!

Jet, thanks for the offer. I think I might go try it on again first, cannot remember what size I had--and want to try it with the jeans.

DH managed to use up all the milk I'd left today so pumping for Britain for the next two days. Tomorrow I have to go pick my friend up from her writing group south of Buxton and get her to the train in Manc for 1:30ish. So bed now I think!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 30/05/2010 23:10

Hello all!

Been catching up on 24 and now I am scared of all this fashion talk.

I take it you are all off tomorrow as it is a bank holiday?

hellsbelles · 30/05/2010 23:13

I think he's got it in his head that as a group full of ladies we'll be getting lots of attention.

He knows full well that I don't flirt...it's just not me...so it's silly for him to worry (and tbh I rarely get flirted with...but he just imagines I would cause he's biased). I suspect he will realise he is being daft.

Anyway - I'm going to bed now...good night all.

DreamsInBinary · 30/05/2010 23:13

Perhaps he is worried about you meeting strangers and is trying to, well, protect you in some way?

Yes, the Plum top was fab and I may buy it yet, but I think not for The Outfit (the one she descibed a little later). Kodak's Topshop dress may be a winner, too. Albeit in a larger size and GOD I hate that

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 30/05/2010 23:25

Have I killed the thread again?

Dib, I am visiting my sister in the summer holidays, if you want to meet up?

DreamsInBinary · 30/05/2010 23:31

Yes, that would be lovely Bitter! We will have to sort out numbers via fb or something.

I am off to bed now, having missed that Child of Our Time thing [grumpy].

Night
