But if you need help with that ham Trills.....

Saatchi & Saatchi??

Alice - builders tea is perfect, any still brewing? WD on reaching 30 weeks

Crispy - that course sound great, neither DH nor I swim well. But five years??

TrillianAstra · 31/05/2010 13:34

Are you selling advertising space on your arse Mitts?

I should eat something proper, shouldn't I? Have had a glass of milk, cup of milky coffee, and some apple juice. Been busy domestic goddessing. Eyes watering from all the onions, but I used my new food processor to chop them into little bits for making the chutney.

It's not really proper chutney Jet - it's just lots of red onions fried very slowly in a tiny bit of oil, then I pour over some balsamic vinegar (the cheapest I can find), reduce down a bit and stick it in jars. V yummy with meat or cheese.

bellavita · 31/05/2010 13:52

Hello

We are just on our way home. We drove to Nottingham and have has some lunch at Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem - a really really old pub. Lovely food - I had prawn and smoked salmon salad.

How are we all?

Mouseface · 31/05/2010 13:57

Afternoon everyone, I've skimmed the thread, sorry, missed 3 days.

Bella - that sounds lovely, ah, pub lunches are the best.

Alice - yay, 30 weeks!

Mittz - how's your bottom today?

Jet & Hells - good for you re the hitting the diet hard.

Trills - Happy belated Birthday and yummy chutney, sounds lush!

Instructions - mmmmmmm, fish and chips.

I just wanted to pop in with a weigh in.... no loss this week which is fine as I've eaten mainly fat! Albeit little amounts but still.

I must have lost 2stone in sweat at the spa though on Saturday!! It was awsome, a real treat. Will have to save up to do it again.....

I wanted to ask if any of you have had Tramadol? I went to see the doc following my trauma on Thursday and he gave me them for the pain.

However, I don't feel hungry IYKWIM, I just eat because it's morning. Started them on Saturday and I just feel full all the time. I really struggled to finish a plate of food last night, a meal I'd normally manage.

I've read the leaflet and it does say loss of appetite but thought I'd ask if anyone has had them and felt the same?

bellavita · 31/05/2010 14:05

Hey Mouse - sounds like you had a lovely time at the spa. I cannot comment on the tramadol because I have never taken it.

What is this about Saatchi Mittz? It takes ages for the thread to load on my I-phone with the thread being so large so I haven't even attempted to read it.

Trills did you have to pay the difference for the bigger ham?

jetcat · 31/05/2010 14:22

hey bella

Mouse, i was prescribed tramadol, but after listening to the pharmacist explaining the side effects - spaced out etc (he knew i was on my own with baby) i decided against taking them.

Hope you soon feel better though

Mouseface · 31/05/2010 14:31

Thanks Bella, it was delightful. I felt really posh for the day!!

Jet - I'm not spaced as used to taking Tylex, I'm just not hungry.....

TrillianAstra · 31/05/2010 14:46

Yes, did have to pay Bella - weighed stuff you pay for what you get, even if it's more than u asked for.

Have found some people to come round an help us eat some of it tonight, then the rest will be for DP's sandwiches.

What's wrong with you? I think I've missed it. Is it your teeth again? Loss of appetite doesn't sound too bad if you're still trying to lose weight, make sure you have enough to keep you going and drink plenty.

TrillianAstra · 31/05/2010 14:47

Don't know where the rest of the letters in 'you' went in that first sentence

CrispyTheCrisp · 31/05/2010 14:52

Bella, lunch sounds lovely as does Mouse's spa

Trills, i buy really big hams, cook them and then slice and freeze it in little packs. V handy for sandwiches and lunches

Mouseface · 31/05/2010 15:04

Trills - is that last line "what's wrong with you? Is it your teeth again?"

About my Tramadol question? If not, sorry, ignore me!

If so, I've been given them for my hips. Severe SPD 13 months after having DS. They did intensive physio last Weds and I couldn't walk.

I guess loss of appetite is not too bad a thing for weight loss?!

bellavita · 31/05/2010 15:30

Honey, I'm home!

Trills, I did not realise you could buy ham by the poundage - I have only brought the pre-packed stuff (this is Ocado though and not Waitrose). Does it come under "Deli"?

Am sipping camomile tea (I nicked all the posh teas out of the basket in our room and brought them home to try!). The ginger and lemon one is lovely.

TrillianAstra · 31/05/2010 15:40

Oops, yes, sorry Mouseface, did one of those things where I merge two posts in my head and thought it was Bella on the tramadol Hope it is helping, 13 months sounds like a looooooong time to still be suffering.

Bella it's just a gammon joint, not sure how that's different to 'proper' ham - I am roasting it with mustard and honey as we speak. You choose a weight and they pick the pre-packed one that is closest to what you said. In theory, anyway.

bellavita · 31/05/2010 15:49

Ah right Trills. it is gammon joints that I buy (tis the same as proper ham) but the ones that I buy come as 500g and in like a tight plastic wrapping. I thought you had bought something different that's all. But, we don't have Waitrose, only Ocado Deliver. Obviously with Waitrose you get to chose the size.

bellavita · 31/05/2010 15:53

That's why you mentioned teeth Trills (I did think you had gone a bit mad then!)

Mittz · 31/05/2010 15:58

The Saatchi thing is a joke...

Some of the 'comediennes' :p on here were mocking a post on which I apparently lead them to believe that I am exhibiting my bum...

DS has had a major outburst and I have had to close early.

Hi to folk that have been absent. xx

bellavita · 31/05/2010 16:02

Oh Mittz - sorry you have had to close early . Are you ok?

So you are not showing your bum then.... I would have looked forward to that

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 31/05/2010 16:33

mitz, is there something in the water? ds has had one of those too. He is safely in his bedroom. holiday canceled.

It has been established i have no will power.

Can i go to bed yet?

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 31/05/2010 16:33
hellsbelles · 31/05/2010 17:07

it's only a matter of time before they do call Mitts

But sorry to hear about the DS's outbursts. Are you both ok?

jetcat · 31/05/2010 17:12

so sorry your plans had to change Mittz and ULAQ I have gave up parenting for the day and handed over responsibility to junior It feels like that though, as mini has discovered petville on junior's facebook, and wont come off it!

Just had an early tea - new pots, chinese chicken and salad. Was delish, but not sure it will see me through the night

Hello

Tramadol sounds wonderful, Mouse - a painkiller and an appetite suppressant? Who could ask for more

Sorry about the hols, ULQ, and about the difficult DS's ULQ and Mitz.

Lovely, sunny day here, so have spent all day in the park or back garden. Bliss.
