Am not really a Brummie, from 15miles away so the accent from home town is brummie, but I haven't lived there for 14yrs and never had a very strong accent anyway.

DH still hasn't finished bloody hall floor, fgs, it's like he's doing some sort of blooy Roman Mosaic or summat.

really good thanks iggi, didnt get off to a good start, as realised train i wanted didnt run on a sunday. so rather than texting yank again to change plans, i had to get a taxi through to the changeover trainstation (which was rather expensive) and by the time i finally sat down on the train, i was very stressed

But, yank is lovely, and we had a lovely day! I bought a dress (the debenhams mantaray one on t'other thread), some skinny jeans (me in skinnies!) and a nice top.

We tried on loads of things, and had great fun trying on things that were outside of both our comfort zone

I also saw a lovely top in monsoon to go with skinnies, but ran out of money If childcare cheque from OU comes in time, i will get that i think....

but, yank is lovely - thanks hun for a lovely day
