Hello you lot.

Hope you are all having a better day than I.

British Airways are determined to ruin my holiday. Bastards. 10 days to go and "HHhhhmmmmm.. lets have a fucking strike, shall we?!!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/05/2010 13:47

They are utter complete wankery twunts.
Our flight may be affected but nobody will tell me anyfuckingthing until Friday. If I change Airlines I will have to pay the difference between what I paid for flights in January and current prices. There is a difference of over £2,000 at mo. Have to sit it out in the hope that
a) It will all be fucking fine
b) BA will transfer us for Free
c) It is all just a bad dream.

Just went to Thomas Cook for advice. They know nothing much. Told me that as decision to strike can't be taken until Friday they might not go ahead with first dates as 7 days notice needs to be had. If that wasn't a ruse to get me out of their shop quietly we might be alright for getting there. But I don't trust them They lie.

Stress is good for weight loss. No?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/05/2010 14:00

Goobs, hope they sort it out, where are you flying to?

Saf, that is scary, I was 12 stone at my heaviest, down to 9 stone 9 but would really like to be between 8 and a half and 8 stone 10.

How tall are you?

I'm only 5 foot 3 so it feels like any gain really shows up.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/05/2010 14:01

I mean scarily similar to me, not that you are scary!

Goober · 11/05/2010 14:02

Philadelphia. I hope.

Lizzylou · 11/05/2010 14:06

for Goobs, I know I heard on the radio that there is every chance most staff won't strike, so flights shouldn't be affected too much, fingers crossed.

Vinny hope you feel better soon mate, thyroid problems affect people so much, my stepmom had very similar symptoms to you, she is sorted now though.

Well done on the loss Mouse. Were you expecting the diagnosis on your DS? What happens now?

I have just done a cheeky 4km run, am whacked and red faced and sweaty, shower and then off out again to pick up boys.
Legal world v quiet this week, noone responding to calls/emails, think it is election cool down or something.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/05/2010 14:06

Room for a small one?

Goober · 11/05/2010 14:08

Thanks Lizzie.

Vinny, I have thyroid problems too. I take huge dose of thyroxine every day.

Mouseface · 11/05/2010 14:20

Blimey Goober - that's shit for you re your hols.

Lizzylou - Yes, I knew he was "behind" as such because of all the times he's been in hospital fighting for his little life. Now we get our very own community paediatrician to come and set targets!?

Thanks SAF, yep it's a mad range! I'll be happy with 1 or 2lb a week, nice and slowly.

I too have a muffin I need to shift, it is niether the edable nor the bird kind!!!

Fleecy · 11/05/2010 14:22

Hello everyone, I missed the last thread. Was complaining about having no work and now I'm snowed under. But don't feel i can really complain

Loving the sandwish Vinny - you asked about FB friends, I have initials EN and have a large glass of wine in my hand! So that's me.

I have lost 5lb on this thread, thanks to FF and would like to lose a further 9lb but might not depending on how effective exercise proves to be!

Alicetheinvisible · 11/05/2010 14:24

Afternoon

Goober that is really rubbish.

Vinny sorry you are poorly you should have gone to macdonalds

Bitter - i am 5ft3 (and a half) and i have never weighed less than 9st my whole adult life. When i weighed 9st i was riding up to 8 horses a day, and very rarely had a proper full meal (lots of snacking, but still would have been within cals) It is funny how people who are the same height can be such different weights/clothes size. At 9st i was an 8

DD is having an enforced nap. She doesn't need one everyday, but a couplea week make a lot of difference. I have had a nap too and woken up with my head on wonky from being at a funny angle.

Where is Trills these days anyhow?

Oh Mousey - just re-read and need to confirm that the " great news" was for losing weight and how FF is working for you. I have a serious case of foor-in-mouth at the mo, in rl and on here

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/05/2010 14:41

v at saf being hot and leggy!

I need to hoover, but I also need a cup of tea, guess which I'm going to do?

Oh, and DD has colured in the dog.

Anyone have any idea on how to get green felt tip out of a wei?
