So, here we are on the 63rd(?) thread...

Much intellectual discourse has been held...The big bang theory rewritten...thermodynamics hotly debated, the Election mused upon....

Alongside which, we coax, encourage, arse kick, tease, boost and cajole our way into a healthier lifestyle, with whatever 'diet' or exercise regime suits, and drinking more WATER (are we drinking our water ladies? )..

Please pay homage to our mascot as you enter the thread.

Anyway, where were we? The life and works of Aristotle I believe.....and over to you Total...

oooops i'm posting my real thoughts on a thread. Probably shouldn't have.

Vinny - at least it wasn't my coming story

Defluff · 15/04/2010 17:44

ooops, hi gigantaur. i posted my message above before i realised you were on same thread as me. Lets err agree to disagree eh?

Defluff · 15/04/2010 17:47

actually i take that back, no one calls me a 'stuck up nobboid' and gets away with it

Fleecy · 15/04/2010 17:58

Hi there Gigantaur - I have no idea who you are and I'm pretty new but hi

I have inadvertantly sabotaged tomorrow's weigh in by boiling our healthy dinner completely dry. So we had pizza instead

Ah well, have been honest with Food Focus and still just within calories for the day.

bellavita · 15/04/2010 18:12

Fleecy.

hello new and rejoining people! had a mixed day - had a nice trip with my mum and DS to the beach, and dropped in on a friend - but then had some worrying news about mum's MIL, who has been admitted to hospital and needs a blood tranfusion. Hopefully she will feel much better once she gets transfused (hopefully the transfusion is something they can get done over next 24 hour, don't know how these things are arranged...).

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 15/04/2010 18:33

Hi Gigi (as I shall call you- much nicer and more YOU)

Hope things aren't too bad today?

bellavita · 15/04/2010 18:42

Ah, that's a nicer name BoF

How is life in the BofF household? Things any better? What has gorgeous dd2 been up to recently?

Sazz, one of the jobs he does is moderate the forum so he is constantly looking at the laptop . I am going to have a chat with him tomorrow anyway.

TotalChaos · 15/04/2010 18:44

sazzles - even in my slim days I found Karen Millen sizes v. small, I wouldn't read anything into the 12 being tight.

I've been writing helping a friend's dd with an A level essay this afternoon, bella, and been choring [dull]

DD2 has been at her afterschool cub session of the week, so she's just stuffing some crackers before bed- I don't know where she puts it all

Friend was trying to convince me I had M.E.- she is a total hypochondriac, even on other people's behalf. I had to politely remind her that I am probably hungover most days, so she should put that theory to bed

BitOfFun · 15/04/2010 18:50

Oh feck me, yes, Karen Millen stuff is TINY. I once squeezed into a size eight in there for a few days, but even my left leg would look uncomfortably snug in that now.

bellavita · 15/04/2010 18:55

Karen Millen's shoe sizes are bang on though!! I ordered a 5.5 which is what they had left and is my size and they fit perfectly!

I do agree about their clothes sizing. The sweater I ordered to come with the shoes, I have had to order a 12 (size 3) as the 10 was too small - and I am a 10. Same as on Tuesday when I was in there, I tried a 10 t/shirt on and it was waaaaaaaay to small.

BofF - are things more positive on the money side yet? I hate it when friends try and diagnose you . My DS2 loves crackers.

Oh y'know Bella, easy come, easy go

I have just called DP through to come and look at dd2. He had asked where she was- missing in action. Actually she was missing under a pile of towels and clean laundry on a chair trying to go to sleep

I've chucked dipped her lightly in the bath and chucked her into bed- fingers crossed she is done for the night.

Hi gigi, welcome back

defluff - what is your coming story? I must have missed that one

Sazz - dont worry, honestly. I bet even if i am below your starting weight, your clothes size would still be smaller, due to my errm, chest issues Although saying that, i had cause to do a breast exam last night, and suddenly realised that they no longer touch the bed when i am lying down i am about a handful now (god, that didnt come out right at all, but i know what i mean - they have def got smaller)

hope your mum's mil is ok TC

DEM - you ok?
