People of the world, join hands, join our TOTALly fabulous healthy eating thread.

We are a group of MNetters who wish we lost a pound for every post we have made on this thread since our benevolent leader started her SHINEY threads many, many months ago now.

I am Syc, and I was once deputy although life has slightly got in the way in the last month or so. But, inspired by our recent TOTAL yoghurt bonanza, I'm back and on the wagon.

Join us, we are a friendly bunch but like to waste as many calories as possible through moving our digits very swiftly over the keyboards and posting like women possessed

All denominations here, so whatever way you want to lose weight, maintain or just focus on healthier eating, you will fit right in.

I am on FB Jet, can I make a rain check to do it another time? I am supposed to be working.
DSS is 26 but he is quite sensitive. He really is a special young man. It all gets so messy.

NormaSknockers · 06/11/2009 19:08

Sounds like you struck up a nice friendship with him Bella

bellavita · 06/11/2009 19:09

I think what really bought it for me was that he had a Ford Capri

jetforkesandbonfires · 06/11/2009 19:11

oooh i loved the ford capris My first boyf had a black ford xr3i - which he actually paid more attention to than me - it was a very short relationship

no worries mits, let me know when

bellavita · 06/11/2009 19:14

Jet, why don't you answer the add eh? You have nothing to lose and if you do write to someone, you can stop at anytime.

jetforkesandbonfires · 06/11/2009 19:18

i would have to put a photo on though i think - not sure if i am brave enough

I also think that maybe i am still a lot little too big for anyone to want to be with

I will think about it though, and maybe at least subscribe for a month or so - see how it goes And you will all have to help me write something for my profile - can you imagine if i wrote it myself -

"Hi, i am me but cant imagine why you are looking at me. I am not interesting, not good at physicl stuff and only want someone who is away all the time"

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 06/11/2009 19:20

Sorry Jet but Lol, I would write that sort of thing about myself and then add ''actually, you'd be better with someone else, sorry for bothering you''

Lizzylou · 06/11/2009 19:21

OK, no more Mrs Nice Guy. I am going to channel Angelina (lovely name that ) Jolie in Tomb Raider and kick ass from now on. I will swap the shorts for jogging pants though as my thighs aren't up to it.

SO, Jet, you HAVE to put your foot down, you really do. You deserve and need a lovely Christmas with your DDs. DO NOT back down, think of yourself and your girls and make it really special for you all.
Oh and yes, answer the add and start writing some letters, do it!

Vinny, sorry that your DS is so upset. I remember sometimes not wanting to go to my Dads, I was 10 and my DB was 7 when they divorced but once was there I loved it. It is different though when you're older I suppose.

Re: Twitter, I think that that could have something to do with the THREAD about Christmas presents?

It is Jet, you know it is.
Have you seen a thread that was on tday about free/cheap experiences that people do for their DC?
Read that, I will search for it and it will make you so bloody determined to keep your girls with you, some lovely ideas on there!

High Kicks off to find thread......

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 06/11/2009 19:31

And there is NOTHING wrong with a good pair of thighs Lizzy

BitOfFun · 06/11/2009 19:33

Evening all! Had a lovely Indian takeaway for tea as a surprise for DP after him having a rough week- because I ordered for us all it only cost fifteen quid instead of thirty, and we actually ate it instead of giving up after a while and having loads of leftovers. It was healthy-ish too. Haven't caught up on the thread yet, but at a glannce I see we are boring

I shall attempt to liven you up with an unpleasant joke:

What did the leper say to the prostitute?

It's alright love, you can keep the tip...

NormaSknockers · 06/11/2009 19:34

@ Lizzgalina!

Jet - it's in the wording, you just have to be creative!

Lizzylou · 06/11/2009 19:34

Here it is

Just realised Mits that you could help me do my Tombraider kickboxing moves! Fab.

No more Mrs Nice Guy, oh no sirree.

My thighs have always been wobbly, Mits, they do get better with more running though . Think Beyonce but lumpier and more wobbly. And pale, a bit purple/blue, very cottage cheese like........NICE!

NormaSknockers · 06/11/2009 19:35

Eeewwwwww BOF

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 06/11/2009 19:39

Rofl at BOf's joke..I do like sic humour......

jetforkesandbonfires · 06/11/2009 19:39

Lizzy - you sell yourself nearly as good as i do

at your takeaway BoF - i was just glancing through my indian menu leaflet, trying to find something not spicy and low fat - figured i was on a losing battle

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 06/11/2009 19:41

mine are like this lizzy...a good pair of walnut crackers lol.

Lizzylou · 06/11/2009 19:44

Mits, I know you're lying, I've seen your slender self on FB.

BOF at joke, how very dare you say we're boring!

TrillianAstra · 06/11/2009 19:46

Mmm, well done on healthy eat-it-all takeaway BoF. I am making carbonara for dinner. DP is still not completely well and I'd rather I cooked and had what I wanted than play the 'I am too ill to cook' and have something else.

Definitely planning a low-key weekend.

Hi Ali, of cousre you're welcome back.
