People of the world, join hands, join our TOTALly fabulous healthy eating thread.

We are a group of MNetters who wish we lost a pound for every post we have made on this thread since our benevolent leader started her SHINEY threads many, many months ago now.

I am Syc, and I was once deputy although life has slightly got in the way in the last month or so. But, inspired by our recent TOTAL yoghurt bonanza, I'm back and on the wagon.

Join us, we are a friendly bunch but like to waste as many calories as possible through moving our digits very swiftly over the keyboards and posting like women possessed

All denominations here, so whatever way you want to lose weight, maintain or just focus on healthier eating, you will fit right in.

SparklyAlice · 06/11/2009 17:11

BitOfFun · 06/11/2009 17:15

It is just cod being facetious

bellavita · 06/11/2009 17:20

I thought it might be one of us trolling in the hopes that someone would say nasty things about us. We're a gang you know!

Couldn't get out of work til 5.30 even though I was illing, on my own next week so had to hand over loads of work from other members of the team.

VinegarTits · 06/11/2009 18:05

Well bang goes my peaceful night

Xp just came to pick up ds2 and ds2 wouldnt go with him, he usually cant get out the door quick enough, but this time he sobbed in my arms and begged me to not make him go

VinegarTits · 06/11/2009 18:08

Someone on twitter said she got very bored of the Shiney's, think thats why Cod was asking who we were

bellavita · 06/11/2009 18:09

Rofl at Shiney fighting - a bit of mud wrestling perhaps...

Aww Vinny , what did Xp say?

SazZaVoom · 06/11/2009 18:11

Vinny - . Has something triggered it?

Lovely recipes Alice . I LOVE soup but unfortunately love the hunk of fresh bread to accompany it

bellavita · 06/11/2009 18:11

He went through a similar phase a while ago, xp would come every weekend to get him and he would be hysterical, so poor xp would go home empty handed it last several weeks

I hope this was just a one off though as i do like my child free weekends, i would go insane without them

NormaSknockers · 06/11/2009 18:24

Oh Vinny that sucks Fingers crossed it's just a one off & he'll be happy to see XP tomorrow!

jetforkesandbonfires · 06/11/2009 18:24

vinny - hope tomorrow goes a bit better

i confess to not knowing how to twitter the only one i can ever understand is Phillip Schofield

i am having to majorly rethink xmas, as ex's family is expecting girls to go there for xmas dinner I have previously put my foot down and said that as this is the first year in this house, we are staying at home (girls want to stay here as well). But, they are all playing the 'we have more family than you' card - saying its not fair on them to stay at home with 'just me' instead of going up there to grandparents, aunts, uncles etc. At the moment they are going up xmas day night, but i am worried that the emotional blackmail will work and i will give in like i have every other year

Oh, and xmas pressies are having a rethink - need to scale down somewhat although, i did buy first one for minijet today, half price in tesco and with clubcard vouchers - so at least its a start
