People of the world, join hands, join our TOTALly fabulous healthy eating thread.

We are a group of MNetters who wish we lost a pound for every post we have made on this thread since our benevolent leader started her SHINEY threads many, many months ago now.

I am Syc, and I was once deputy although life has slightly got in the way in the last month or so. But, inspired by our recent TOTAL yoghurt bonanza, I'm back and on the wagon.

Join us, we are a friendly bunch but like to waste as many calories as possible through moving our digits very swiftly over the keyboards and posting like women possessed

All denominations here, so whatever way you want to lose weight, maintain or just focus on healthier eating, you will fit right in.

No one is posting because they are all off eating yohurt

Well done on the cbeebies thing, drives me mad that program

jetforkesandbonfires · 11/11/2009 15:06

I have actually kind of messed up with cbeebies

Junior has spent the best part of a week making a big card ready for mini's birthday next month, as she wants them to read it out. Junior worries excessively over her abilities, so its a minor major miracle that she has actually finished it

I have sent it off today, with minis name and age, who made the card etc. but forgot to say who the card is actually from Not sure if they will read it out if there is no "and this card is from mammy..." etc

VinegarTits · 11/11/2009 15:38

Cant you email them and tell them the card that was made by juniorjet should have said from you aswell?

were is everyone today

Lizzylou · 11/11/2009 15:44

Hey Shiney, hope the day went well.

Happy Birthday to mini-Jacboot

Jet, definitely email CBeebies and tell them, am sure they'l sort it.

Hi Alice, hope your leg is oK.

STill feel woozy, my gums are so swollen and sore.

Think my yoghurt is coming today (can't remember),

bellavita · 11/11/2009 15:47

Hello

Tis DS2's birthday today - he is 10 and was awake at 5.50 this morning waiting to go down and open presents and cards.

Shiney - are you posting from work? I can access the tinternet from my desk but it won't let me do mn, only the computer behind me in the cubby hole post room lets me access it.

Had toast this morning (took it to work) and was so busy it took me an hour to eat two pieces... had a banana and two satsumas aswell. For lunch I had scrambled eggs on toast. Curry and rice for tea.

TrillianAstra · 11/11/2009 15:56

Happy birthday to little boy bella too then. Lots of birthdays!

Shiney, come tell us how your first day at work went!

I am busy, spoke to big new york boss and we exchanged illness stories, he said he was very very glad he hadn't know I was ill at the weekend else he would have been very scared that he might have had no team at all this week

VinegarTits · 11/11/2009 16:09

Happy birthday bellaboy

We have been moved from a light airy office upstairs to a cold dark office downstairs, there is that reflective shit on the windows so you cant see in, but it keeps out natural light

I think i may develop SAD, or a vitamin D deficency

SycIsTOTALLYFatFree · 11/11/2009 16:22

I have come to see how Shiney's day went.

Here we are:

Sycamoretree takes fright after innocently clicking on the Waldorf Steiner thread: "I feel like I've peered around a door expecting to see some teachers in cords sipping bad coffee and, instead, stumbled across some terrifying cult. It's like frickin' Rosemary's Baby in here!"
