People of the world, join hands, join our TOTALly fabulous healthy eating thread.

We are a group of MNetters who wish we lost a pound for every post we have made on this thread since our benevolent leader started her SHINEY threads many, many months ago now.

I am Syc, and I was once deputy although life has slightly got in the way in the last month or so. But, inspired by our recent TOTAL yoghurt bonanza, I'm back and on the wagon.

Join us, we are a friendly bunch but like to waste as many calories as possible through moving our digits very swiftly over the keyboards and posting like women possessed

All denominations here, so whatever way you want to lose weight, maintain or just focus on healthier eating, you will fit right in.

Good luck Shiney!

Lizzylou · 11/11/2009 07:01

I did wonder about the cat flea connection, BIWI

Up early and feeling OK, hope you all have good days (and that Vinny's head stops itching)

DreamsInBinary · 11/11/2009 08:44

Good luck today, Shiney

VinegarTits · 11/11/2009 09:02

jetforkesandbonfires · 11/11/2009 09:09

Lizzylou · 11/11/2009 09:20

OH yes, knock em dead, Shiney

SycIsTOTALLYFatFree · 11/11/2009 09:40

Good luck shiney! Thanks for Quorn related email - I will feel very honoured if I'm included but not at all fecked off if not as I am so not able to pull my (now considerable again) weight on this thread at the moment.

Morning all. Worked till feckin 12.30am last night again - christ this new job is killing me! Got in early at 8.30am for a conference call that got cancelled, great.

Yog arrives on Thursday - christ Shiney can't believe how much you've been given! I was instructed to hand out to friends and neighbours etc too.

I am bereft of Yog recipe inspiration - help!

Trying to ignore the bacon butty I have just ordered for my belated breakfast...and the pie and chips DH went out for tonight to console me for working every waking hour.

Feeling disconnected but hanging on by my fingernails to you all with a daily post.

Morning all. Special hi to Syc as she's not ehre much.

I will try to keep yoghurt-related comments to the yoghurty thread, even though VT is over there sulking.

BIWI I am using you as my excuse for why I am giving people yoghurt. I say irrelevant-yet-true things such as 'I know someone who works in market research' and 'I'm supposed to get comments and email them'

jaquelinehyde · 11/11/2009 10:46

Morning all

Syc you poor thing, try not to wear yourself out too much.

Shiney good luck with the new job, I'm sure your dazzling them with your good looks and fantastic sense of humour as I type this

Well today is DS's 4th birthday so we have had a mad mad morning, full of excitement and girly screaming. He's in Pre school now until 12 (I promised I would collect him early so he could come back and play with his new things)and then we are having a small party tea for him. It was going to be a big party out somewhere but we cancelled when my poorness hit me

How is everyone?

SycIsTOTALLYFatFree · 11/11/2009 11:10

Happy birthday littleJac

Trills - that's so funny. I really want to shout my free yog from the rooftops but don't want to give away my online ID in the process either.

So I've only told DH and my mother, who wouldn't have a clue how to find me online or be bothered to.

Happy birthday to minijaq, hope he enjoys his tea party, and remember its not an excuse for you to eat cake lady oh well maybe one slice

i have been munching on heroes this morning

wastingaway · 11/11/2009 11:21

I had to think what you meant there Vin , they're chocolates though aren't they?!

Happy birthday to Littlejaq!

So far I've had Fruit and Fibre for breakfast, so doing well. Going Morrisons after lunch for a walk and to stock up non-free yoghurt.

TrillianAstra · 11/11/2009 11:30

DP knows my posting name (and how to find this thread) so no secrets from him. Not that he looks very often, usually only if I tell him that I've been talking about him, or say that there's some extra funny stuff happening.

I don't think anyone I know in RL would go 'free yoghurt she's on Mumsnet!' but you can never be sure.

Happy birthday LittleJac! Little parties are better anyway, they can be more special than a package that loads of people buy. Why were you doing girly screaming?

VinegarTits · 11/11/2009 12:30

Where is everyone today?

BecauseImWorthIt · 11/11/2009 12:32
VinegarTits · 11/11/2009 12:36

Theres blood all over the heroes, tut

hellsbelles · 11/11/2009 12:44

happy birthday mini jaq

Thanks for the heros Vinny put I'll pass - have to be good after excesses of yesterday.

TrillianAstra · 11/11/2009 13:00

Thanks for the heroes Vinny.

Sausage and mash for lunch, mmm. (small portion)

SazZaVoom · 11/11/2009 13:22

Afternoon - swum half a mile this morning, although blown away all the hard work with a packet of skips and half of DD1's uneaten cheese sandwich (albeit minus crusts)

DD's sleeping and i was going to do some pilates but can't be arsed

Happy birthday JaqBoy and enjoy your party tea at home. At home is the new going out don'tchya know - DD1 is doing the same in 2 weeks for her birthday

Syc - your post about working till silly am and then in for conf calls (then canx) at 7am flooded back memories of my old job. Makes me when most of these things can be avoided and it's just certain peoples egos meaning everyone else running round like blue arsed flies when it's really not necessary. Hope you get some slack soon, selfishly of course, because we miss you

Hello lovely ladies

Hope you are all well.

Happy birthday to JaqBoy, its DD's 2nd birthday on saturday, we are having a party in a scout hut/church hall, as really don't want a load of people in my house atm because of work being done. Hope he enjoys his birthday tea

Had my usual busy tuesday yesterday, and because of the grotty weather my leg was so painful i had to take a funny pill and go to bed early.

Have been eating lots of junk this week, must try harder

TrillianAstra · 11/11/2009 14:45

Hi Alice. Want some yoghurt?

jetforkesandbonfires · 11/11/2009 14:52

Hi all, and happy birthday littleJaq
