People of the world, join hands, join our TOTALly fabulous healthy eating thread.

We are a group of MNetters who wish we lost a pound for every post we have made on this thread since our benevolent leader started her SHINEY threads many, many months ago now.

I am Syc, and I was once deputy although life has slightly got in the way in the last month or so. But, inspired by our recent TOTAL yoghurt bonanza, I'm back and on the wagon.

Join us, we are a friendly bunch but like to waste as many calories as possible through moving our digits very swiftly over the keyboards and posting like women possessed

All denominations here, so whatever way you want to lose weight, maintain or just focus on healthier eating, you will fit right in.

Hi to all newbies too.

GetOrfMoiLand · 10/11/2009 21:55

Hello you lovely lot, long time no speak, are you all 8 stone whippersnappers yet? (cos I aint!)

GetOrfMoiLand · 10/11/2009 21:58

Shiney, what's with the yoghurt, quorn and flouncers?

Hello everyone, am on MN a lot less lately (they have BANNED the mn site from work computers the arsewipes, it has ruined my mn fun). But this thread was so lovely, I could just never ever keep up!

Hope you're all well and having fun with your diets .

Lizzylou · 10/11/2009 21:59

Oh Gerrorf, we've missed you!

GetOrfMoiLand · 10/11/2009 22:04

Shiney was mentioned on another thread (about how the level of debate on MN has gone down in recent times (yawn), people were thinking Shiney and Cod were one and the same, and saying that this thread was a CLIQUE (classic MN shock word), it made me all nostalgic for those 2 weeks in the summer when I was eating salads and recording on FF.

I said on that thread how lovely you lot were and thought would put my nose round the door, so to speak.

Hope everyone is well!

SazZaVoom · 10/11/2009 22:05

Is that at the new job Gerrof???

Not seen you down at Virgin recently either

Night DEM, must go too as i expect i'll have a 5.30 call

GGOD LUCK SHINEY

TrillianAstra · 10/11/2009 22:14

No-one thought Shiney and Cod were the same, not really. Well, not til I stirred things up Cod was asking 'who or what is Shiney?' (again) so I said 'Shiney is Cod' just to confuse things.

Lizzylou · 10/11/2009 22:17

Someone else (maybe 2 others?)did pop up and ask that very question though, Trills (and if she was Gina Ford too)!

TrillianAstra · 10/11/2009 22:23

Yes, I know, because I had said 'Shiney is you-know-who'. The person I said it to is/was Cod.

It was funny

at the time

in my head

a bit

Lizzylou · 10/11/2009 22:28

Trills, have you been stirring?
Did you say she was Gina Ford as well?

YOu lil minx

And you look so angelic as well......

GetOrfMoiLand · 10/11/2009 22:30

Hello Saz - yes is at the new job, MN used to work but now they have new servers (or something in IT) which BLOCKS it. How boring. Now I have to do work. How is your job going by the way - do you still have to commute to London several days a week?

Don't go to Virgin anymore, DP had the bright idea of us having a family membership at Esporta of all places. Well, at least he is paying, I wouldn't fork out all that much.

Lol at Trillian's Cod/Shiney stream of consciousness.

bellavita · 10/11/2009 22:32

Am going to bed - have to be up at 6.00 tomorrow.

Night night x

SazZaVoom · 10/11/2009 22:34

Is that the gym health and racquet (or whatever poncy spelling it is) club on the industrial estate past Tesco? I had DD2's swimming lessons there and it is very posh with some very strange people . not you, obviously

I am off work till Jan, hoping i can get something more local as the London commute was really not workable

Trill - i thought your comments were fab on the shiney/cod mix up

BecauseImWorthIt · 10/11/2009 23:16

Hello

Don't forget me in the Quornfest!

Am being restricted re MN use by DH who seems to think it's stoppinig me from talking to him. Hmm.

Lizzylou · 10/11/2009 23:20

BIWI, since I became a fan of yours, I have had a friend asking if I am participating in drugs trials

Is there any possibility???

Slimming ones if poss

GetOrfMoiLand · 10/11/2009 23:23

Saz - yes, it is the very pretentious Gloucestershire Racquets Club (what a poncey name) full of people who come from Leckhampton.

It's dp's idea, his brother is a member so they can train together, and I can go with SIL and go to gym classes drink wine.

Nice outside swimming pool (obv very useful in wnter ) and really good facilities for kids, tennis lessons etc for teens so is quite good. But pricey though, I wouldn't waste my money on it personally.

Good luck with finding a job locally - I thought that London thing sounded exhasuting.

BecauseImWorthIt · 10/11/2009 23:35

Drugs trials?! Do you think I would be slumming it posting it on Shiney's threads if I had access to slimming drugs?!

I know that Frontline also makes flea remedies, but really!
