People of the world, join hands, join our TOTALly fabulous healthy eating thread.

We are a group of MNetters who wish we lost a pound for every post we have made on this thread since our benevolent leader started her SHINEY threads many, many months ago now.

I am Syc, and I was once deputy although life has slightly got in the way in the last month or so. But, inspired by our recent TOTAL yoghurt bonanza, I'm back and on the wagon.

Join us, we are a friendly bunch but like to waste as many calories as possible through moving our digits very swiftly over the keyboards and posting like women possessed

All denominations here, so whatever way you want to lose weight, maintain or just focus on healthier eating, you will fit right in.

Hey Flamingo - well done to your DH , the money will come rolling in soon for you.

hellsbelles · 07/11/2009 13:44

feet not feed - sorry!

Flam - that sounds really good for DH!

VinegarTits · 07/11/2009 13:55

Well Go Ape is off anyway, they couldnt fit me in (only allowed 8 at a time) so i am stuck here for the weekend with nothing to do

Been watching chicks flicks all afternoon and realised i so NEED a man in my life, its so not funny i am going to dry up soon and its quite depressing

Anyone got any ideas how i can get a date for tonight, quick!

bellavita · 07/11/2009 14:36

Go out on the street now and shake ya booty Vinny? That would surely get you a man..

TrillianAstra · 07/11/2009 15:32

What chicks flicks have you been watching Vinny? I've been reading a very big book.

DP has popped into work (which at least measn the top gear repeats are off the TV), I went to the shop and am about to have a very late lunch of pasta in sauce, the kind that you get all dried up in a packet. I haven't really been hungry the whole day, which is very unusual for me. Not feeling ill ill as much as just washed out. Walking the 2 mins to the shop and back was enough exertion for the day - back to the sofa!

VinegarTits · 07/11/2009 15:38

I watched 'Ghosts of Girlfriends' past and 'The Ugly Truth', cheesy but light hearted and entertaining

I am not shaking my booty in the street around here bella, i will attract the wrong type of man (rough council estate)

BitOfFun · 07/11/2009 15:41

How has the online dating been going?

VinegarTits · 07/11/2009 15:42

My sil tipped me off about a website where you can watch movies online (but shhhh as im not sure its legal) so have been watching on my laptop, while lying in bed, picture quality very good too

I am just about to nip out for some supplies then its back to bed/sofa for more chick flicks, might watch The Proposal later

VinegarTits · 07/11/2009 15:43

I gave up on the online dating bof, i de-registered from the site i was using

BitOfFun · 07/11/2009 15:43

How about joining a club or taking a gym class at weekends when you're free? Y'know, like walking or something like that where you meet people and chat a lot? You could widen your circle of acquaintances quite a lot like that- it's a numbers game afterall. Gets you fit at the same time?

BitOfFun · 07/11/2009 15:44

The Proposal is good- I saw it on the pictures.

Have you seen The Notebook?

VinegarTits · 07/11/2009 15:45

No i havent seen it, is it good?

BitOfFun · 07/11/2009 15:45

Best recent one is definitely He's Just Not That Into You- I loved it.

TrillianAstra · 07/11/2009 15:46

I think I'll stick with my book, I'm enjoying quietness.

BitOfFun · 07/11/2009 15:47

Notebook great, bit blubby though, but I like that sometimes.

TrillianAstra · 07/11/2009 15:49

I have The Notebook on DVD, a friend lent it to me, but the cover put me off (kissing in the rain)

bellavita · 07/11/2009 15:49

DS1 (12.5) put on Disaster Movie, but I made him turn it off after I heard the words lesbian and whore... tis rated a 12 but DS2 (10 next week) was also watching with much interest. DH has just come back in, but thinks I am being a prude for not letting DS1 watch it, he agrees about DS2 though.

He seems in a better mood anyway though and I have made him a cup of tea, but he now has rugby on the tv and the something else sporty coming out of his laptop.

Trill, hope you feel better soon.

I have made (it is in the slow cooker) malaysian beef and aubergine curry for tea.

So you can use it mroe than once? That's a bit odd.

BitOfFun · 07/11/2009 16:12

Are you sure? That sounds too good to be true...

TrillianAstra · 07/11/2009 16:27

I just registered with Marshall Ward and got £25 off a £35 order.

It has only let me use it once at Littlewoods - will try the others.

VinegarTits · 07/11/2009 16:38

Are they all the same company because the website are very similar and the product list is the same?

I have just ordered playmobil sea plane, £5, £6.96 with delivery charge

Did you get charged delivery shiney?
