Welcome to the latest in our series of healthy eating threads (26 and counting)!

The emphasis is on health (which is sometimes rude when we get chatting frivolously, as is our tendency), and weight loss where desired. I obviously don't desire it enough, as I am the same weight as when I started, but some of our regulars are mere shadows of their former selves ...

Do come and sign in here if you are with us, or want to join in- all welcome.

We try a variety of approaches, and there is always a lot of support and quite a few laughs along the way. Shiney is the head honcho round these parts, and we do get to be regaled with her embarrassing stories before the rest of MN, so that's always a big draw

Join us if you will!

Black knee length boots? or black shoes?, or tan shoes a a tan bag?

I never go for more than 2 to 3 colours in an outfit, so you have black, white, pink, red, grey, thats 5 so its starts to look a little mis-matched iykwim?

Try putting together, black, red and grey, so keep the red shoes and accessorise with red bag, but stick to black top with the tights and skirt

Lizzylou · 29/10/2009 10:18

I think if you have the red shoes on, then you need to keep the rest pretty plain, have you a black/dark grey loose top?

BiteOfFun · 29/10/2009 10:19

Black top? Red bag? Nah, matchy matchy shoes and bag is too Princess Margaret...unless that's what you're going for?

Oh, I'm no good at this. Put your pyjamas back on

Phew re. the shoes. I like them with the black tights too .

Just tried a couple more tops - dark green is the best colour, I think. And it's the right shade to go with the shade of red of my shoes.

Just uploading pics now.

VineGruesomeTits · 29/10/2009 10:19

or wear a red top, and grey bag?

BiteOfFun · 29/10/2009 10:23

Yes, better

OP posts:
VineGruesomeTits · 29/10/2009 10:24

Yes i like that much better

FlamingoBingo · 29/10/2009 10:24

Do you like the posing on the second one?

I'm a bit concerned about short skirt and low cut top in the first one.

Wondering about trying black top with the green cardi....

BiteOfFun · 29/10/2009 10:25

You are right about the tone of the red and green being the same.

But "Red and Green
Should never be seen
Together unless they're on the Queen"

What is it with me and elderly royals today?

FlamingoBingo · 29/10/2009 10:26

Slow down! I'm only just starting to actually think about my clothes! Let me get used to that before I start thinking about thinking about accessories too!

VineGruesomeTits · 29/10/2009 10:26

Green cardie looks lovely

FlamingoBingo · 29/10/2009 10:27

Really, Bite? I've never heard that one before. Well, my Grandfather was an Earl so maybe I can get away with it?

FlamingoBingo · 29/10/2009 10:29
Grin
bellavita · 29/10/2009 10:36

Hello you lot

Am just having a little break after getting DS2 to hoover all that housework.

daftpunk · 29/10/2009 10:37

hope i find you all well on this fine autumn morning......you know i love this time of year...so picturesque, would love the world to be forever autumn... and

anyway...i'm not here to talk about the changing seasons.....

word on the street is you're still talkingabout me on here shineon....in a very negative way..

"daftpunk flounced after becaming a racist"

now, i've never been in the police force...but i know quite a few people who are...and a requirement of the job is that you have to have evidence of a crime before throwing the book at someone....spouting wild, unfounded accusations is not what they do...well, not the police officers i know anyway...

you see shineon...even politicians, people with BRAINS.. are saying not everyone who votes BNP are racist....that seems to have passed you by....

i am asking you...(actually pleading with you)... to stop talking about me on this thread......i understand you were more pissed off when i said this thread was too childish for me than anything i said about the BNP.....but time to move on...

Om Shanti

x

Lizzylou · 29/10/2009 10:37

Looking fab in the first pic, love that, the 2nd looks nice as well.
Get you, Granddaughter of an Earl!

BiteOfFun · 29/10/2009 10:40

Does that make you a Lady then, Flamingo? Thought not...

OP posts:
bellavita · 29/10/2009 10:40

DP - you know I like love you, but please, can you perhaps contact Shiney off board if you are not happy... x

bellavita · 29/10/2009 10:41

or should that have been love like... >

MitsubishisMagnificentCock · 29/10/2009 10:44

Oh not much time to post..but

SYC WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!! It's like christmas.....

Jaq....you sound better, my offer stands and please don't be embarrassed or stuff, I bet my bottom dollar that you would be just as quick to offer to help anyone else...

BoF, it makes me when you are so down about yourself and calling yourself 'fat' and stuff. I know how much it can matter personally, but you come across as a bubbly, lovely, selfless person, and if you feel you will be judged for anything other than that then go to a party where you will be valued for being you.

Anyway. I really must get loads done so see you all later,

VineGruesomeTits · 29/10/2009 10:44

my house is such a mess, i am far to ill to clean it though

bellavita · 29/10/2009 10:48

Vinny - bet you have got a beautifully clean unmessy house.

BofF - I agree with Mitts, don't put yourself down. I have seen what you look like and you are gorgeous.

FlamingoBingo · 29/10/2009 10:52

I agree Mits. I love you BOF. Even if I now have a sneaking suspicion that you only like me because of my connections.

My Dad is the second son so, no, I'm not a Lady and never will be unless DH gets knighted or I marry someone else titled

VineGruesomeTits · 29/10/2009 10:54

Honestly Bella, i don't i hate this house, i rent it so it doesnt get the same love from me as a house that i might own.

VineGruesomeTits · 29/10/2009 10:57

My children are driving me bonkers, they are bickering, and ds2 keeps coming to me a snitching on ds1 who is finding it highly amusing
