Welcome to the latest in our series of healthy eating threads (26 and counting)!

The emphasis is on health (which is sometimes rude when we get chatting frivolously, as is our tendency), and weight loss where desired. I obviously don't desire it enough, as I am the same weight as when I started, but some of our regulars are mere shadows of their former selves ...

Do come and sign in here if you are with us, or want to join in- all welcome.

We try a variety of approaches, and there is always a lot of support and quite a few laughs along the way. Shiney is the head honcho round these parts, and we do get to be regaled with her embarrassing stories before the rest of MN, so that's always a big draw

Join us if you will!

Have sent you a little FB message Jac.

Norma The other card just arrived, it's gorgeous!! Love it! Will fill it in and hide it in my suitcase before DH gets home Mwah, mwah!

Oh vinny, I hope you all start to feel better soon

hellsbelles · 28/10/2009 10:30

morning all.

Jac - What a scary situation but hopefully if we all put our heads together (as seems to be happening with all these wonderful ladies) there will be a solution. I'm looking forward to hearing DC's ages and stuff. I am the queen of the hoarders and I'm sure I have stuff that needs to go to a good home. Also have published stuff on how to make money on eBay - if you are up for that (or selling second hand books on Amazon which is a great way of getting extra income quickly and easily) I can send you some copies. Let me know how best to get stuff to you (if you are interested).

VInny - yuck! you poor poor thing. But there is that silver lining of weight loss if you do get it!

I'm feeling very virtuous today....did over an hour of pilates....because DH was too hungover tired to go to his lesson.

Right - better get some work done.

BiteOfCock · 28/10/2009 10:33

Anybody thinking of going to this Christmas part malarkey? I suspect I am too fat for it.

hellsbelles · 28/10/2009 10:35

I'm a bit too scared. Maybe when I've been here a bit longer?

SqueezyCheesyCock · 28/10/2009 10:41

Well done helles on the pilates and Trills for the swimming .

BoC, I'd considered going to the 'do' but am too skint, have a holiday and 2 birthdays in November. Don't let imagined fatness stop you from going lady! We're not having that!

Lizzylou · 28/10/2009 10:44

BOC, you are the babe of MN, bruised fanjo and all

Nope not going either, skint and too far away plus I like an air of mystery (and would hate everyone to know exactly how minging I am).

If anyone has any ideas on helping out Jac, I am in.
I have two boys (5.5yrs and 3.5yrs) so lots of boy stuff.

hellsbelles · 28/10/2009 10:46

Pleaassssse tell me what it is you are all going on about. I love parties.

SqueezyCheesyCock · 28/10/2009 10:48

Hells Here

SqueezyCheesyCock · 28/10/2009 10:51

.....or imagined mingin-ness Lizzy! I've seen your FB page and you are not minging, it's official.

BiteOfCock · 28/10/2009 10:52

It is stickied in Active Convos! Oh, I don't know- it is a long way, I literally have a tenner left til I next get some money, and I am feeling several shades less than glamorous, so talk of a glamourama is a bit scary... I think I prefer the idea of Shiney's couch and some winceyette pyjamas if I'm going to go that far afield...

SpookyAlice · 28/10/2009 10:54

look

SpookyAlice · 28/10/2009 10:54

I didn't want to be the only person on MN not able to do links (thanks Shiney) and it works!!

Lizzylou · 28/10/2009 10:59

Aw, Squeezy, mwah mwah!

cockonthedancefloor · 28/10/2009 11:00

Oh, and i am feeling very smug with myself as i have (for the first time ever) assembled a piece of flat pack, and even customised it

and i passed on a much censored version of your best wishes to little bro

SpookyAlice · 28/10/2009 11:03

I think that is quite cool Jetcock

cockonthedancefloor · 28/10/2009 11:09

I'll be there Shiney, i think you are not too far from FIL so could drop DD off on the way - perfect

I wanted to go, but DH is working that weekend so not really an option. I thought i might ask Trills to be my date, but i know she is slightly scared of RL me

SqueezyCheesyCock · 28/10/2009 11:25

PMSL at cash in the attic. Could organise a game of pin the cock on the donkey?

I'm up for a secret Santa

Lizzylou · 28/10/2009 11:26

Throw in a Homes under the hammer and I'll bring some Ann Summers Chocolate cocks
