Is there no onion in that sauce then? Or are you expanding your diet?

lol at the carrot cake and jam doughnuts That actually was my reasoning when eating a kebab - 'well there is salad'

Norma, am desperately hoping i will have lost at least a couple of pounds - but no idea really. Will find out tomorrow i guess! Havent stopped all morning - been out for a 90 min walk with minijet, and busily cleaning house as i am away for a long weekend so i really want house tidy before i go - i hate coming back to a messy house!

Well actually, i am still avoiding the stupid uni essay, as its too hard

TrillianSlasher · 20/10/2009 14:15

Just having some smoothie.

Fingers crossed jet - house cleaning is really good exercise.

NormaSknockers · 20/10/2009 14:18

Good luck Jet, I'm sure you'll have lost something, sounds like good exercise this morning too!

TrillianSlasher · 20/10/2009 16:41

Bloody big weekly meeting brought forward to tomorrow with no explanation (and less than 24 hr warning), bollocks.

BiteOfFun · 20/10/2009 17:09

I am having a bad day and just need to have a little weep if you don't mind. I won't bother anyone.

BiteOfFun · 20/10/2009 17:11

My mini-crisis of the day

TrillianSlasher · 20/10/2009 17:16

Hi BoF.

TrillianSlasher · 20/10/2009 17:17

I have no advice, and nothing to say that won't sound frivolous on that thread, so I'll talk to you here instead. It sounds horrible and very scary.

BiteOfFun · 20/10/2009 17:21

I am feeling a bit better now- she is fine now (for how long is anybody's guess), and the sweet tea tip has actually made a difference to me. It is scary though- she is honestly like something out of the Exorcist when she's like that- it is the most awful thing!

Lizzylou · 20/10/2009 17:22

Oh BOF, poor you.
It could be because she is poorly? There are some bugs going round.
DS1 is lying on the sofa in his pyjamas and hasn't been hungry, he is hot and listless, very unlike my lively always hungry boy. There are 7 children off in his class (of 25), and lots through the school.

I really hope that she is OK for the rest of the night.

BiteOfFun · 20/10/2009 17:23

She did the most spectacular puke in the middle of Friday night- I think you are probably right, there's a lot going round.

Lizzylou · 20/10/2009 17:28

DS1's best mate puked all over the floor in assembly this morning, it is the school of vom at the moment.

Hope she is OK now

BiteOfFun · 20/10/2009 17:30

School of vom, sounds lovely

TrillianSlasher · 20/10/2009 17:37

at school of vom

Poor exorcist girl. Crazy behaviour and spectacular vom.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 20/10/2009 18:05

Hello, there is a to catch up on.
Saw your thread BoF... but hope you are feeling better now.

DS has come back of his trip in a better mood, but took his phone despite it being against the rules, and it has smashed.

Why I get the urge to sing 'head and shoulders knees and toes' when things like this happen is beyond me but now DD has taught it me in German, it is going round my head in another bloody language now.

I am borderline diagnosis for the flu. But certifiably(sp) as mad as a box of badgers.

I ate food. gah.

BiteOfFun · 20/10/2009 18:24

Thanks for the gee-up guys, I'm feeling alright now, just a bit drained- DP is here now making fluffy cheese and onion baked potato fillings, tuna Mayo (light, of course) for on the side, yum...can't wait to get dd in bed soon and have a chill

DevilsEnticeMadness · 20/10/2009 18:26

Right off to parents evening. Will be back.

SqueezyCheesyPumpkin · 20/10/2009 19:08

Hey Bof I don't have any advice either except maybe a glass of wine and stodgy snacks (sounds like your DP has that sorted)

Can't be easy. I hope that a little bit of time makes it better. It's great that you have a really supportive DP.

bellavita · 20/10/2009 19:24

Harley - have a fab fab time tonight and come back on tomorrow and tell me how it went

sorry you are having a bit of a time of it

Had chilli and rice (with salad) for tea and a glass of red

DH is taking us out tomorrow for our tea - Pizza Express, so might just have one of those pizzas with a hole in the middle filled with salad.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 20/10/2009 19:54

I love pizza. Very much.

There is a little testaurant in the village with a very peculiar waiter, but apparently they are extending to open a pizza section....I am undone.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 20/10/2009 19:55

'testaurant'....
The miond boggles...

I meant Restaurant, obviously.
